ALAZKA // ANNOUNCE UK TOUR DATES FOR MARCH 2020 WITH KINGDOM OF GIANTS

Recklinghausen, Germany based post-hardcore act ALAZKA are pleased to announce a 3 date UK run in 2020 alongside SharpTone label mates KINGDOM OF GIANTS, plus Rarity and Resolve. This comes off the back of new single 'Dead End', that was released last week alongside an affecting video. The dates will be part of a wider European tour, set to take the bands across seven countries in Spring 2020.

German post-hardcore group ALAZKA started their journey in 2012 as Burning Down Alaska, with the young musicians developing very quickly from a local band into a band that played significant international shows - without having even released their debut album yet! ALAZKA have since played several European tours, including their own headline tour, the Impericon Never Say Die! Tour and as support to The Amity Affliction and We Came As Romans. They've also played several established festivals such as Southside Festival, Graspop Metal Meeting, Summer Breeze etc. plus shows with international acts like Parkway Drive and The Ghost Inside.  ALAZKA put out this statement last week: "First off, we’d like to apologise to all of you for being so quiet and leaving you in the dark for so long. The reason for this is something that hit us pretty hard and took a lot of time for us to deal with it. It’s with heavy hearts that we have to announce that we’ve parted ways with Dario and Kassim. It came to a point where they realised that they and us just don’t share the same vision anymore regarding the music we make and the way we see this band’s future. There is no bad blood and we wish them all the best for and all the love for their future endeavours. Please respect that this was their own, free decision and that this is, what we all feel, is best for everyone. 

Here’s our new single 'Dead End‘! It’s a song about inevitable change and the way you can decide how you want to deal with it. We all come to points in our lives where things need to happen and it’s up to us to try to run away from it or face it head on.

Also we’re beyond excited to be back on the road in Europe & UK in March next year on our biggest ever headline tour! We can’t wait to finally see you all again and get back on stage!”
