Surprisingly enough, Nephalia Drownyard was not the star of these games. My win conditions these games were Wurmcoil Engine (who saved me from a vicious early-game beatdown), and Batterskull with his constant bouncing away from removal. Curse of Death's Hold also helped a ton. I won the first and third games. My opponent was mana-flooded, so perhaps I just got really lucky. Let me just say that Champion of the Parish and Silverblade Paladin enchanted to each other is ridiculous and made me want to throw up. I lost the second game to a huge Champion that I could not draw a solid removal spell for. This brings my overall Tumblr record with Grixis Control to a whopping 3-0.
