FINALLY DONE! I made a little emoji head of (almost) every Godzilla design :D
The notable exclusions are ToraGoji (because these are mostly based on an AU I'm working on with a friend, and part of the lore is that Tora doesn't actually look like that, that's just how the Americans decided to depict her in their movie about her, so my emoji for her is what she "actually" looks like), Hannah Barbera Goji (because in the lore, he's ToraGoji's dad and isn't seen), an Gyura Goji (because I just don't like his design at all, sorry u,u )
But ye a full list of who's who is under the cut ^^
have you ever noticed how kinggoji is weirdly bald?
u sure? all the gojis are bald in some way
kaiju shenanigans
Wanted a change of pace from my usual fandom stuff, so i drew some kaiju stuff again, here's the 1962 Godzilla design (AKA KingGoji)! ------ Quise cambiar un poco lo que dibujo usualmente, así que dibuje cosas kaijus de nuevo, aquí esta el diseño de Godzilla de 1962 (también conocido como KingGoji)!
Add this gorgeous piece of Biollante concept art to the list of places Kinggoji shouldn’t be but proudly is.
(It’s a good list!)
I’m so obsessed with this creature.
In action today is the NECA Godzilla 1962 based on his appearance from the movie, King Kong vs. Godzilla. It's one of my favorite Showa films from my childhood.
I never had a good representation of the '62 design in my collection, NECA comes in with a very good likeness with this figure. While not 100% suit accurate, the sculpt highlights many of the details unique to this particular design. Paint was a little spotty around the mouth, but the dorsal plates look pretty darned good. It's a really nice addition.
On to pics...
i just wanna say that kinggoji is probably my favorite suit. not just because it’s from my favorite godzilla movie ever or anything. just. look at him.
he’s such a nice looking boy!!!!! i’d take him out for dinner. so polite.
