Why is no one talking about the Diviners series by Libba Bray? Where is the fandom?

Because this series is just soo dang good.

1920s New York combined with magical realism and a hella diverse cast? Yes please.

I mean, there's just so much diversity, the main cast alone consists of 2 jewish characters, a black guy, a gay fella, a chinese-irish girl with disability...

And the writing. Bray has such beautiful prose. Not to mention the fantastic character and world building and intriguing magic system.

So I tried it on and it was difficult for the most part at first because: I have a bigger head than normal, even though my hairs short it's thick so when I wear it for real I'll have to super slick and hairspray it, my hairs black and curly so again a lot of hairspray will be needed for akon, like I said my hair is almost black in color and so lighter wigs are harder for that plus I'm still completely a newbie to cosplay so I'll have to look up best ways to help with that because my hair is obvious if I don't mess with it a certain way especially in back, being Mexican I'm a bit hairy in areas like my hair line in back is messy and longer than others so it's hard to hide with shorter wigs but I'm getting a hair cut next week anyways so I'll probably get it shortened and buzzed like I did at one point and really liked! I really love the wig though it sheds alittle but it's fluffy and the perfect shade I really like how it's pre layered because Hinata is omg a fluff ball! I also need to fix my cape and the feathers, and by the con fix my crown I'll probably like take off jewels and top ball parts and reprint it gold and maybe keep jewels cus why not? Idk I'll figure it out by A-Kon I'm so excited!!!
