Story time: I recently found my first zaku I ever built as a child(8 or 9) this was the jungle combat zaku from that 8th ms team line. I would later find out that apparently this line was really cheap and terrible cause of money issues at Bandai. I was really bad with gunpla back then(hence all the nubs) I might clean him up someday but for now he’s a reminder of early first attempts at gunpla as a kid. He’s my king of thorns.

Today 25mins speed paint topic caught my eye, so I took the chance to paint this during my short break. To some he is often seen as the man crowned with thorns, a 'King of thorns', often misunderstood, misjudged and misrepresented to the World. To us, this is Lord, saviour and Eternal salvation, Jesus, come in the form of pure grace. Experienced and witnessed in miracles through my life, he answers me and it is a very tangible relationship that is very personal, that one can only be experienced if you reciprocate to his Love. Remember, He first loved you, just like how our parents/people love us, unconditionally. To some who question 'just what have he done for you? He has healed us numerous occasions(even our dogs! ) , bless and prospered us, kept us safe and in good health, shown himself to our friends to do the same~his love. Hard to believe for some, many ppl will scoff and say this is 'Luck' , nope there is not, nor is this mentality or spirituality. It is #justGod. Have a good week ahead! "There is something brittle in me that will break before it bends" . So close to October, the mind turns to dark reads. The Broken Empire trilogy was the first Grim Dark fantasy I read. I was set against the horrible things that might happen, but was surprised to find that Mark Lawrence uses this beautifully poetic pride throughout. It's since then been one of my favorite reads. Make no mistake, it's unflinchingly gruesome.
