This is an art trade for projectangel101 on DeviantART; Their OC Mikata hanging out with Kinja. Seeing as they both lost their village and tribe, They have a lot in common despite being a generation apart. I’m sure Mikata would be asking a loooot of questions.

I’m a regular reader on Kinja, and the amount of people literally celebrating the fact that XXXTentacion was shot and possibly killed is fucking gross.

I get it. He abused his girlfriend. But this is still basically a kid we’re fucking talking about. (Yes, I know he’s legally 20 - which is absolutely no better than 18 or 19.)

A kid who was probably just murdered in cold blood.

If these are the types of people who have the nerve to call themselves compassionate, educated adults, then I don’t want to be one anymore.

Welcome (back) to The A.V. Club

Hey, A.V. Club reader. This is it. Our site is now live on Kinja, bringing The A.V. Club into the same publishing fold as the rest of our new friends at the Gizmodo Media Group, and completing a transformation that has been many arduous, anxious months in the execution. We’re gonna try not to break it.

Have a very lazy attempt at drawing the twins’ Parents

Rii’s design barely changed since back in the day minus the fact I made her more echidna-like, and Asher? This is only my second time drawing him XD’ Maybe it’ll prompt me to draw the twins as kids one of these days. You can see attributes of both designs in Kinja’s current outfit.

Kinja age chart! I got stuck with the current-day outfit chart so I decided to do an age one first. So, if ever I draw more of her past(and definitely more with the twins or Sirk) I can just look back at this. 

Also, I decided that the symbol on her jacket ends up becoming a back tattoo once she turns 19. 

Age 3-9: Princess of her village

10b: After her village burns down and she flees to Knothole, this outfit is one of her mother’s old outfits sewn together into a dress and made to fit her by Bunnie. 

12-16: After the twins leave Knothole and start their own mini freedom fighters unit. She now proudly wears her mother’s coming-of-age necklage(given to the women of her tribe once they turn 12), got rid of her old tiara, and found a style all her own.

17-18: She first changes into this on her first date with Sirk, and it becomes her go-to style. 

Senna(19-present) : Dyes her hair darker, gets contacts, parts her hair to the other side, and goes for a much edgier look. Becomes the lead singer of Clockwork Penguin. Doesn’t know how to braid her own hair(Her brother or Rini would always braid it for her) so she just throws it into a high messy ponytail. Wears platform boots. 

23-present: Finally comfortable/safe enough to go back to being Kinja, though still sings/acts as Senna for Clockwork Penguin. Wears her brother’s weapon pouch in his memory. Keeps the contacts in, just in case. If Sirk ever did find her again, the ring and the necklace would be a dead givaway.
