Actually, it really, really does.  Thank you so much, it means a lot and I hate that I haven’t been in a position to respond properly for so so freaking long, but I’ve read every reply you’ve sent me and I’m so glad you’re still here even though I couldn’t be in touch like I used to...

But, as of yesterday, I FINALLY got wifi installed in my apartment, so for the first time in almost two years I have internet at home again!  So THANK YOU, we really must be in touch soon!!!

Shadow of the Colossus spoilers mentioned, ‘kay?

Pretty sure it, Colossus and ICO are all connected.

It certainly LOOKS that way, but I did some quick reading and it seems that the makers of the game are being really vague about whether or not this game is a part of the same universe, let alone the storyline.  I really feel like it has too many similarities not to be though... the way the horns glow and the black shadowy puffs around the creature scream Colossus to me.  And of course the architecture.

ADDITIONALLY, the Colossi were all guardians of a sort as well aren’t they?  You just don’t find out until the end what they are holding inside of them (the black fogginess).  So perhaps as Ico (which I haven’t played yet despite Colossus being one of my faves, pfffffffffft) is sequel to Colossus, this is a sequel in the far future? Or the Colossi were once furry/feathery creatures like the new guy is, and became stone over time or through an enchantment so this is a prequel?  That is a twist I could appreciate.

And they said that this game was inspired by the bond between Wander and Agro... which makes me feel like I’ll hate the ending. XD  But boy do I love the realism with which they approached the creature’s animal design and behavior, ohhh mannnnn... (I also disdain the sexism with which they created the human character but that’s a whine-fest for another day)

Clearly, I am just way too excited about this.
