“Aloutia produces so much food that there aren’t enough people living here to eat it all,” Su said. “We owe that blessing to the Goddess Cherribell, your Goddess. When we go to the Plant Church tomorrow, perhaps we should thank her for the bounty she has provided us.”

My fantasy world, which ALL my books will take place in, is called the Pentagonal Dominion, so named because it forms a pentagon shape when visualized in the same space.
Feel free to ask any questions or leave kind/supportive comments!
In the map above (made by @dewiwrites) I have Terra displayed for reference, but it's not actually part of the dominion. In their lexicon, the word "dominion" is a unit of space (kinda like the words 'galaxy', 'star cluster', or 'universe'). A dominion is a 'space' consisting of any number of planes ruled by a godlike entity (or connected in such a way that they *could* be ruled by a godlike entity), usually connected in the same timeline and/or magic rules.
I'll probably do longer posts later about each of the planes, so for this post, I'm just going to discuss the dominion as a whole.
First a deeper explanation of what it means to be connected by the power of a god, time, and/or magic:
Connected by a god: Of course, every dominion has its own concept of what a 'god' is. Some might call an entity a god but said entity might be a minor spirit compared to the god in another dominion. I use the term 'godlike' to mean an entity of significant power, able to dominate, to conquer, to establish *dominion* over a space. Some dominions don't have gods, but there's still planets and stars that in theory *could* be conquered by a godlike entity, if it existed in that space.
Connected by time: Dominions are usually on the same timeline. Occasionally there will be planes that go faster or slower, but as long as it remains stable and consistently the same speed, it's part of the same dominion. Only when time travel gets involved do the lines blur. For instance, if a traveler from Plane X went to Plane Y, then back to Plane X and found themselves 3 years in the past, it would be assumed Plane X and Y are not in the same dominion, though they might be in the same superdominion if they are ruled by the same entity existing outside of spacetime. (I'll explain superdominions later, too. Basically it's every dominion from the start of time to the end and all its alternate realities).
Connected by magic: If a dominion has magic at all (not all do), the method(s) by which people use magic is typically the same on all planes and planets. There might be localized rules such as "only people born on Planet X can use Magic X and only people born on Planet Y can use Magic Y", but those rules are nevertheless built into the whole dominion's cosmology. This one is the most difficult to explain because magic is usually flexible and not so easily defined anyway. The Pentagonal Dominion uses a very hard, scientific magic system compared to others.
In the Pentagonal Dominion specifically, the planes are connected by magical portals. Portals materialize in, well, matter. If you see a wall, pool of water, or even just air sparkling with odd shimmering glitters, that's a portal. Where it will take you depends on which plane you're currently on and what form of matter the portal materialized in. As an example, if you were on Cosmo:
A solid portal would take you to Aloutia
A liquid portal would take you to Ophidia
A gas portal would take you to the Quarantined Plane
These can be seen in the map above where solid brown along the dotted connecting line means solid portals, blue water represents liquid portals, and whooshing wind represents gas/air portals.
He helped me arrange my mane, too. It was an absolute mess. He stood behind me, combing the top of my head while I braided my mustaches into my beard.
“I’ve heard that depression is like a seagull,” Su said. “You can’t stop them from flying overhead, but you can take care not to let them make a nest in your hair.”
“I think I’ve heard that one,” I said as I snapped a bone bead into place beside my mouth. “The seagulls almost got me this time.”
“We will fight them off together, Ami-honey.”
With Su’s help, I acquired a more publically-presentable appearance, and my soul felt more at ease. I was grateful to have Su here to fight away those pesky nest-making seagulls.
"The gentlest, most forgiving Lightning elementals saw him as a nuisance—an entity we had to cater to so we’d keep our blessings. The more critical amongst us saw him as a foul rapist who should be disobeyed. There was no shame in a Lightning elemental losing their blessing."

In this dark adult epic fantasy novel, Amiere is a bisexual, polyamorous father of seven children, living an idyllic life on a tropical beach… until a fissure opens up underneath one of his daughters.
“*Bone* appetite,” Su said as he set it down.
Dinner was wonderful, or it would have been if not for the tumult of wild thoughts and emotions plaguing my mind. Su sat next to me with a cup of ponzu sauce. With a bright smile on his face, he poured some on my ahi.
Our house was made from materials that often needed repairing or replacing, but that was our way of life. Our clothes, too, made from leaves, grasses, and bones, didn’t often last more than a season. The people of Seabells and its villages, embraced the transient nature of life.
