𝚃𝙷𝙴 𝚂𝚃𝚁𝙴𝙴𝚃𝚂 𝙾𝙵 𝙺𝙾𝙽𝙾𝙷𝙰 𝚆𝙴𝚁𝙴 𝙰𝚂 usual hot and bustling with people ; from vendors and children to shinobi going to and from work, there was a lot to see and to hear ━━━━━ the snake sage however, found that as much as he often found himself enamoured by such bright display of life, most of the time it was a bit overwhelming. There was also the fact that he was most unfamiliar with how to handle days off. As a shinobi of his status, Orochimaru hadn't ever had that many days off, he could count all of them in one hand ; and in their majority they had been forcebly imposed either due to his exhaustion or because he found himself in a hospital bed.
Walking through the streets, the snake sage soon felt a small presence following him ━━━━━━━━━ a small chakra signature, too big to be a civillian but far too small to be a grown shinobi. Which could only mean he was being followed by a child ; a shinobi child. Now that was not wildly unusual ━━━━━━ whenever Jiraiya or Tsunade stopped by and the three of them decided to catch up, the children would flock around them, eager to see The Legendary Sannin and to hear Jiraiya's mostly madeup stories. They never approached him when he was alone, though, and that had him curious.
Taking advantage of the next turn, Orochimaru switched places with a shadow clone, and took to higher ground ; easily spotting the young child in his hiding place. Only a Sarutobi would think to sneak up on him ━━━━━━━ Konohamaru was indeed following straight into his uncle's footsteps, was he not? Orochimaru thought to himself as he planned how to approach the child. He watched as his clone stopped to softly pet a cat, and saw the child move closer ; Orochimaru gave him points for being cautious. Swiftly and silently, Orochimaru crouched next to the young boy, and curiously whispered ━━━━━━ trying to keep the amusement out of his voice.
