CHAPTER 4- Chaos

The sight of a defeated Naruto made Hinata’s heart shatter into a million pieces, but she knew that she needed to remain strong for his sake, “Naruto, you must know that my heart belongs to you, and only you, in this life time- or any other…Yet, if you truly love me, you’ll honour my request.”

“Ask me anything!” Naruto added.

“Go on to live a happy- and a successful life, be the emperor your people need you to be. And be happy… but, without me. Forget about me”.

Naruto realised the signs of determination in Sasuke's eye, and understood then, that it was futile to argue any further with him. Although Naruto wasn’t as convinced, he knew one thing, which was, he was not going to let Sasuke go through the experiments alone.

“Damn it! Fine, I'll do it too” Naruto cursed while palming his face with the only hand he had left.

“Hnn. I knew you'd follow me”, Sasuke smirked back at his friend.

“Bastard” Naruto chuckled, “If anything happens to me, I’ll make sure my ghost haunts you for all eternity”.

Neji's death was tragic, it was supposed to be. At the beginning of the series, he hated Hinata, He Hated the main branch, and he establishes himself that he wouldn't ever save Hinata. What happened with Neji is the highest level of character development that I've ever seen.

And out of the 9 rookies and Might Guy's team, only one of them died in a war.

You just have to have everything, don't you.
