for the last 2+ weeks, the Amazon has been catching fire. Yes, it’s the season where that’s normal but because of the sayings (aka incentive) of our new president, some farmers are taking advantage of that and intentionally setting the trees on fire. Yesterday, because of this, the sky of São Paulo looked like this. AT THREE IN THE AFTERNOON.

Hospitals of the northern states are filling up with people (especially children and seniors) claiming they can’t breathe properly. ALREADY ENDANGERED ANIMALS ARE DYING. THIS IS SERIOUS.

Germany and Norway, huge donators to the Amazon cause will stop sending money because they don’t see results (that can also be credited to our president, who has been tweeting angrily ever since - not because he cares about the environment, btw). That money gives this guy and his team equipment to save little guys like these:

THIS AFFECTS EVERYONE, NOT JUST BRAZILIANS. The Amazon is the largest rainforest in the world, and it’s being destroyed. WE HAVE TO DO SOMETHING.

If your country is holding elections, vote for someone who cares about this. Don’t let another Bolsonaro or another Trump have the power to do something and then do nothing. This is going to shape our future — if we have one.

See this right here is part of what almost killed me last summer. I had other stuff going on mentally but seeing in my inbox over and over again negative things the monsters in my head were saying too just pushed. Pushed so far I was ready, made a plan, and waited for my family to leave the house so I could be alone to go through with my plan. it’s no different from sai and ino or temari and shikamaru or hinata and naruto.

sai’s last name is yamanaka. but he’s not of the yamanaka clan.

temari’s last name is nara. but she’s not of the nara clan.

I can’t count the messages I’ve got by SS shippers about my post [Sakura not being an Uchiha].

She’s not part of this clan. She never will be because she doesn’t have Uchiha genes, as simple as that. If Uchiha Madara married a woman of, let’s say, the Namikaze clan, that woman would not be an Uchiha. Their biological child would receive Madara’s Uchiha genes and be an Uchiha, not his wife. So it’s not even about Sakura’s character or Sasuke or (anti-)SS or anything like that. It would apply to any other non-Uchiha character. In fact, it’s not even about Uchiha, I would argue the same if anyone called Naruto a Hyuuga. 

For SShippers it’s all about SS. This is one of the most popular clans and you’re trying to make Sakura more special than she is by claiming she’s “Uchiha Sakura” .. (I’m cringing as fuck just writing that name… it’s just.. so wrong) 

You people who tag Sakura “Queen” (cringing again), obviously can’t stand her being a no-name, so you’re trying so hard to make her an Uchiha. Her being with Sasuke is all about that, it’s about the Uchiha D. That’s all you ever talk about.

sakura does not have fire-type chakra nature. she cannot perform the jutsu required to wear the clan’s symbol without shame, and therefore be considered uchiha.
