Meet Kit Review

Did I read this as a kid? Yes

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars

I remember reading this as a kid as I had a box set of all the meet books. I never had Kit's other books outside of mini stories so it will be interesting what I've picked up over the years.

It's very interesting to reread this as an adult during the pandemic. Hearing the job issues with Kit's dad and her brother not being able to go to college because there's no money kind of hit hard since right now, there's a lot of people going through the same exact thing. People who dont know where their next meal is coming from, those on the streets, it's a real tough read.

Luckily, that's what's great about American Girl. Their stories work at anytime to teach important lessons od the past for the future.
