@kitcat992 ‘s Identity Crisis Chapter 14 drops and I just
kitcat992 replied to your post: Okay I really want to tell Turbotax to go fuck...
H&R block tries to do the same shit. I’m so tired of it. Plus they massively f*cked up my taxes last year because they didn’t understand MD and DE don’t have reciprocity accords. Professional tax preparers didn’t understand basic reciprocity laws. Wtf. I WILL say Credit Karma is free, at least it was 3 years ago when I used it. On that note, I strongly believe they need to teach “how to do your taxes” in high-school. I needed to learn this earlier, not now
GUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUG!!! I feel that!! I currently owe roughly $10,000 in taxes and it will only continue to get worse every year. I only make freaking $24,000 a damn year and have basically nothing left by December so how in FUCK I’m ever expected to pay this shit is beyond me - and all of this BS simply because I’m freelance and yes I even pay estimated taxes through the year but it’s like they want to punish the poor by making them utterly destitute.
Identity Theft Commission is complete!!!!
I had so much fun doing this project and I hope you all like this watermarked version!
I made this 2 page comic for the fanfiction Identity Theft by @kitcat992 on AO3
An extremely well written, 30 chapter fic with lots of cool characters, including Spider-Man, Iron Man, the Avengers, the Chameleon, and Mysterio! Please go check it out and give @kitcat992 and her fanfiction some love!
I might also make prints available, I’ll reblog with more details on that
Hmmm hey @kitcat992 this looks familiar...
@kitcat992 replied to your post:Unpopular opinion: I never imagined Tony and...
Nope, I’m totally sharing that vibe with ya. Tony Stark both movies and comics never had a fatherly feel to him. Pepper works so well for him in the movies because she’s similar; she’s a career oriented woman, not set on being a mother. Surreee, could they both be parents and rock the roles? I have no doubt. But it would be such a huge leap of personality, one that just doesn’t fit into who we’ve seen in these stories for, at minimum, a decade. I’m not knocking the whole “Tony & Pepper have a kid named Morgan” concept, but I will wholeheartedly agree that its not for me. It’s so much easier to see Tony fit into a father role with Peter when they’re both older, since by that age (for them both) it falls more into mentorship category.
Yay! I’m not alone. Of course, should it accidentally happen for either Pepper or Tony they would give it their all. Pepper would definitely adore the kid. It’s not like she would oppose if the occasion arose, but given her busy lifestyle I don’t think she would consciously make the decision to have a baby.
I get a Real Steel vibe from Tony pre-Iron Man. (If you haven’t seen the film, please do. It’s right up our ally. On that note, somebody please write the AU for the love of god I’m dying.) Sure, if he found out he had a kid he’ll make sure he’s taken care of financially for the rest of his life, but emotionally it would be hella difficult for someone as scarred from his relationship with his father as Tony.
Tbh, Tony is such a complicated character even before Afghanistan, it would be difficult to determine what decision he would make if he found out he had a kid/baby. Depending on the situation he was given, this could either go either ways:
The kid already has parents (adoptive or otherwise) that would raise him and love him. Tony will support him financially. That we absolutely know of. Food, clothes, education. But he would do it in the shadows. He would not interfere or be a part of his life due to his deep insecurities and fear of the media hounding the poor child. Until maybe he has his first brush with death that he might want to actually get involved. (”I don’t want to die knowing I had a child that I never got to know...).
The kid has no one/the mother can’t raise him. He would fret and ponder a long time about whether he should let the kid go into the system or keep him. He would obviously hate the idea of letting him live with strangers despite thinking it was for the best, but he would probably change his mind if he saw the kid for the first time and talked to him. I.e. his brain yells at him to give up the kid while his heart screams for him to keep the child. Tony follows his heart and will try his absolute best to make sure the kid is loved and supported. Basically everything that Howard didn’t do.
I’ve read so many different interpretations of what decision he would make that it’s hard to imagine which one would be right, because they all sound in character for Tony. We’ll never be sure unless MCU actually puts Tony in these scenarios.

“I don’t care if you ship stucky or not. Truth is if you see Steve and...”
I have absolutely nothing against Stucky shippers but I personally don't ship them; I love them as best friends. I also enjoyed Steggy for a long time, as it was -- a love lost in time. With all that said, Endgame is a HELL NO to me, and I agree -- no way in hell would Steve do that shit. Nope, nope, nope. #notmycap
I really don’t lean either way with Steve and Buck, I can see both points of view and I get that Steve loved Peggy and probably still does but no matter which way you look at it I don’t think Cap would’ve left behind any of the Avengers really. It’s his life now and I think he’d already came to terms with that. So, yeah, HELL NO is the way to put it.
