So most of y'all know my life and home have been upside down for the last week due to a (planned) counter top replacement and (unplanned and un-budgeted-for) emergency plumbing repairs

And the universe looked at my week and went

"You know what this needs?

A kitchen fire!"

This used to be a full tray of royal icing shapes on parchment paper. I left them in the oven to dry out and forgot about them

Jon forgot to empty the oven before turning it on to make dinner

Luckily he was fast with the extinguisher and everyone's fine. There was just a lot of smoke and a lot of stress

And... a lot to clean up

All my baking pans were put away in the oven... now everything's scorched and/or covered in extinguisher stuff

Lots... lots of cleaning up to do T__T
