Okay so I just wanted to pop in and let you know that I love both your Life and your Settle series (and your other works, but those were the two I found your wonderful writing with). Your take on Wild is so interesting and different from a lot of the other takes I've seen of him. I also love both Legend and Warriors in their respective series, and Wild's care for them.

I'll admit, Legend is usually holding rank at the top of my favorite Links list, and Wild always holds a special spot in my heart because botw was my introduction to Zelda. And I also admit, that after binge reading all of Settle last week... I admittedly had some run away thoughts/headcannons/mental potato chips regarding the two of them in that au. Would it be alright if I share those with you?

Oh hi!! Thank you so much!! Sorry, I’d missed this sitting in the ask box. I’m always thrilled to learn that people like my Wild (et al)! I’ll admit I was a little worried he might be too different at first, but he (and Wars/Legend) wanted the story to be told I guess. The care is a huge part in the two series, so again I’m happy you like it!

Legend and Wild are usually my top faves, but Wars is such a fascinating contrast to Wild that he’s definitely up there. My introduction to the LoZ games however was Ocarina of Time!

Time has actually got his own fic/series (who knows!) brewing behind the scenes right now, with him/Wars/Wild as the focus. Sooner or later they’ll all get a turn in the spotlight! (The poor things.)

Yay for a binge read! That’s definitely a compliment. As is the request, and I’d love to hear your headcanons for them! Settle is kinda my baby, so honestly learning you’ve got them at all has put a huge smile on my face.

“Don’t go.” His stupid, fever-addled brain makes his lips say. The confused crease that appears between Wild’s eyebrows is adorable, and normally that would make him happy but right now he’s rather worried Wild is going to try and leave when Legend has just decided he’s not allowed to go.

“I’m not allowed to go?” Wild chuckles, face weirdly soft-looking. “Good job I’m not intending to huh?”

hey not to be pushy at all, but are there any updates on malia? i love the fic and couldn't find any updates and didn't know if it was on hiatus or abandoned

Hi! Nah no worries on being pushy, it has been an unfortunate while. None of my works are abandoned! I’d like to say they’re not on hiatus either, but given the time some of them have been waiting you can probably argue they are lol. Either way, I am definitely planning on updating everything— all my WIPs actually have another chapter in the works, including Malia! Just a case of scraping together time to write amidst the manic mess that my life has turned into over the last year.

Tl;dr: I am still here and nothing has been abandoned! Things are in progress, just need time to write

Writing ask game: 2 & 29?

Hey you! Your FD is still driving me mad and the emotions are wholly your fault/lh

Current POV exploration is Time, and the sheer mess that time travel can create out of a perfectly good kid. Poor guy is complicated and we love that for him. Do have to wonder what repeated aging and dealing would do to a person… would they ever be able to form a consistent sense of self when they’ve been made and unmade in the image and to the whims of others. Not to mention the touch of more than one god…

And chapter titles are either super easy and have been sat as the document name for a while, or they drive me mental for ages until I just throw a word at it instead. …At this point most of my titles are just words, actually. Eh. If it works!
