I just Kitchenered together a 387-stitch seam, without losing my mind. At least, not that I can tell just yet. Ask me anything as I ride this high for several more hours.
Plot twist? I need to perform this exact same picked-up-and-grafted seam 5 more times to finish this blanket. :(
For the non-knitting among you, Kitchener is a type of knitting grafted seam, where you join 2 live sets of stitches together, essentially sewing in a row of knit stitches live with a sewing needle. It's usually used for the toes of socks, like 2" max. I just did it for about 6' worth of blanket. It took nearly 7 hours to do this one seam. I am always doing things like this to myself in the name of geometrically-pleasing knits, and I never learn my lesson.
