I am SO HYPE to work on this fic, you have no idea. Silent Hill, in as much as I love all my other fandoms, is number 1 so I’m really excited to toss some of that good ol’ horror at THB

hahahaha yeaaaaah for the series actually aimed at kids they dub things to Dutch, and most commonly the American version is used as a base, so indeed a translation of a translation. It’s generally okay since translating English to Dutch isn’t too much of a stretch in meaning for a lot of words and expressions, it’s worse from Japanese to most western languages. They did the same for Pokémon. At least they didn’t do that for Dragonball Z. I mean, I’ve seen Dutch versions of the DBZ manga and it just feels super weird. Anyway, there’s only so many times one can hear “believe in the heart of the cards” before it sets off the gag reflex.

Yo so after the binge reading of Yu-Gi-Oh, did you poke at the fandom any and if so did you find anything neat? Totally on a Yu-Gi-Oh kick right now and looking for new stuff to check out

Nah, I generally don’t involve myself with fandom, and tbh I spent a looooong time actively disliking Yu-gi-oh for (in retrospect) silly reasons (the Dutch dub of the American dub was *awful*) so it’s still kind of a new experience that I enjoyed this thing in the first place. I do have to admit tho it was entertaining.

Re your prompts votes fic post, so I somehow missed your Men of Legend fic when you first posted it but I've read it now and totally second the person wanting a sequel. Like I've never even watched Arthur and I'd still completely enjoy reading more
