If you’re in the Kitsap area hmu because I have too many Oregon oak acorns starting to sprout. I didn’t expect this level of germination.
Oregon oak is our only native oak here in Washington, it’s an important food source for numerous species including the now nearly extirpated western gray squirrel. They’re slower growing trees and like lots of light.
Just a heads up, last year I saw a handmade leather bag on raffle had like three tickets in the bucket so this is worth stopping by Sunday afternoon and checking the raffle out. J
