Do you have a tutorial on how to draw Mewtwos? It would really help those who struggle with drawing Pokemon that are more complex than a Pikachu
I...dont really have one ^^; because how I learned to draw them in the DP style more efficiently was to practice tracing over screenshots of Mewtwo from the film in different poses and angles multiple times until it became like muscle memory, and I got more comfortable and confident drawing them that way. I do recommend that. It certainly helped me tons.
Buuuuut another way I used to draw them (and sometimes I still do this) before I did that, was using the shape method. I can give a quick tutorial on that
A mewtwo's body is basically nothing but a bunch of circles and squares lol
For visual perspective:
Once you narrow down the shapes of the body parts, it's a bit easier to map out the body structure and pose them
Here's a quick example:
I'll draw a mewtwo lying down using the shape method.
You're only using the shapes as a guide, so it's okay if it looks a bit messy like this XD
On a different layer, you can then start to sketch over the guide and begin outlining, refining, and/or adjusting certain areas if need be, add in those finer details and such...
And eventually, ya might get something that looks like this ^^
