i have missed the puppy asks so much and that last one was so sweet!! but how do you think the pups would react to a cat? either being brought home by hotch or just encountering one while hotch takes them for a walk? i think they may be territorial/skeptical at first but eventually warm up to it.
I love answering puppy asks, I just haven't gotten a lot lately, so that's mostly why they've been "gone" for the past couple of weeks.
I feel like Spencer would be very friendly towards a cat from the first meeting with one, he'll try to befriend it and such, but obviously, the cat is kind of nervous about these two puppies.
Puppy on the other hand is not a fan. I feel like she might've had bad experiences with them while living on the street/during her fighting dog "career" and she immediately starts to growl, actually to the point where Hotch has to lift her off the ground for the next block or two.
If he were to get a cat, he'd have to be smart about it as to not have either a dead kitten or severely harmed one, because Puppy can get territorial over Hotch and be like: "mine! >:(" around him. (Not if Spencer is trying to approach though.
I feel like he would have to house the cat at Penny's for a bit and then take the two hybrids to meet it first separately and then together to see how they react to it. And if that goes well, he'll have Penelope bring it over for a visit to ensure that they can get along in his home. And if that doesn't go well, Penny has agreed to take the kitten, cause she grew kind of fond of it while taking care of it. :)
