hey so sorry to bother you i was just wondering how you made the gif for your delancey hair? i've been trying to make one for pretty much the same reason and i tried to do it on giphy like ten time and for whatever reason it isn't working :/ thanks so much for the help!

hey!! im so sorry for the late reply but here is how i make gifs for cc posts it's pretty simple:

first i just take 2 diff pics in cas in the same pose/position with the 2 diff hairs, then i open them in photoshop and have them as two separate layers like this (you can edit/layout the files like you would any other image file in photoshop i.e. you can do this whole tutorial within your .psd to cc templates if you have one):

then at the bottom of the photoshop window there should be a timeline, you want to click the 'create frame animation button':

and you'll see a thumbnail of your image on the timeline, add a new frame by cicking the little square sticky note icon so you should have two (if you have more than 2 images just click it again to make 3 frames and so on so forth)

on the second frame go back to layers and hide/show the next hair/image you want to showcase. so for example in my file frame 1's layers look like this

and frame 2's layers look like this:

then on the timeline, where it says 0 sec change that to whatever number you want (i usually do 0.5 seconds or 1 second) on all frames. and change 'once' to forever

and you can hit the play button to preview your gif! once your happy with it go to file>save for web> and make sure the output format is GIF and the looping option is set to forever, and hit save and your gif should be ready!

1000% agreed. it also hurts me that I’m not seeing anywhere near as much discourse on the toxicity and extremism of Hamas and how they and Netanyahu are essentially both benefitting from all this. (Disclaimer: am not Jewish, have been learning much context about these particular events from my Jewish friends, beyond what history I already knew from the 40s-70s, and my own Christian Zionist bullshit upbringing.) 

fun fact on zionism: at least for the brand of Christianity I was raised in, which is the “Bible Belt” of the United States, the fervor comes from an extremely ill-informed and misguided righteous attitude; a romanticizing of “the Holy Land”, alleged prophecies, and “God’s will.” nothing motivates people more than self-righteous, bigger-than-them causes, and this obsession has permeated even secular American culture. we’ve got the people who ~believe~ that want to bring about the ~christian paradise~ in prophecy, and the people who are just using that self-righteousness in others for power/money. the whole thing is fucking disgusting.
