Okay, so at first I was going to do it all in one go, but I changed my mind pretty quickly because I got inspired and had alot of ideas of what I could write etc. So, yeah, I hope you aren’t annoyed I put it into different parts, I just thought it would be easier because I could write in more detail? But yeah, this story’s sort of my main priority and tomorrow I’m starting writing Part 2. So far I don’t know how many parts their will be, I’d guess probably 5 or 6? I don’t know. I’m not working on anything else until i’ve finished all the parts to this so yeah, enjoy ^^ ~

PART 6 IS HERE
"Sae, just because you have a boyfriend doesn't mean you have to kiss him every five sec-" The voice at the door stopped in its tracked as you stumbled away from Yukwon as quick as you could.
"_________?" She gasped and your heart thumped in your chest as you turned to look at the girl stood in the doorway.
It was Seowoon, Sae's best friend. Her mouth was agape at the sight of what she had found, you and Yukwon locking lips. You brushed at your hair self consciously and stepped further away from Yukwon. You avoided her eye contact, hoping she'd just leave. But she didn't.
"What the hell!" She turned on Yukwon, "You're cheating on her? You're cheating?"
She shouted down at him and that's when the penny dropped. Sae hadn't told her. She hadn't told anyone they'd broke up and you wondered why.
"Seowoon, it's not what you think-" Yukwon tried to quieten her down but it was no use.
She then turned back to you, thrusting a finger in your direction, "You tart! What the hell do you think you're doing? You can't just sleep around with any boy you choose-"
You didn't know what to do. She'd got it all wrong. You hated confrontation and Yukwon knew it. You felt his hand tighten around yours and he spoke up, "Seowoon, Seowoon! We broke up." He explained quickly, before she could interrupt.
"Well I think-" Then she stopped, mid sentence and her brow furrowed in confusion, "Wait. What?"
You nodded, "It's true. They broke up a couple of days ago." You said quietly.
Her voice rose again, "Well even if that's true you shouldn't be pouncing on him the day after they broke up! Do you know how hurt she probably is, Yukwon? You can't just treat girls like crap and expect to get away with it. I thought you were better than this, I thought-"
Suddenly, a voice rose above hers, "Leave them alone." It was Sae.
Sae appeared in the doorway and started talking to Seowoon, "I broke up with him, okay? I broke up with him."
Seowoon whirled around, "Why didn't you tell me?"
"Because it's none of your business who I date or who I don't and if you hadn't put your ore in just now, everything would have been fine."
"What are you talking about? He's...He's already moved on. Aren't you mad." She shook her head, "No. I knew. Just leave them, okay?"
Sae walked away, down the hall and out of sight meanwhile Seowoon stood infront of you opening and closing her mouth before leaving too.
Yukwon's friend, Jihoon then appeared at the door, "Um. What the hell are you guys doing here?"
You quickly snatched your hand out of Yukwon's and spoke, "Uh. Nothing. Just..."
Yukwon spoke up, "Just...grabbing some paint. We're...helping with this years play."
It was a lousy excuse, but he seemed to buy it and just give you a weird look, "Come on, Kwon, we're gonna be late for Geography."
Yukwon left giving you a wave and a lingering look, then he was gone. You stood in the room for a minute, composing yourself.
When you had smoothed down your hair, you stepped out into the hallway and tried to act as normal as possible, even though your legs felt like jelly.
Yukwon had after school classes that evening, so you went home without seeing him. Walking through the door and throwing the keys down on the kitchen counter, the phone started ringing and you grabbed for it.
"Annyeong?"
"Ah! _____! I'm staying another night...are you going to manage without me?"
"Of course, umma. I will be fine. Have fun." You replied, smiling even though she couldn't see it.
"Are you sure? Because if your not I can come home-"
"Bye, umma!" You laughed in a sing song voice and hung up the phone.
By the time it was nine o clock, you had achieved nothing productive at all apart from opening a packet of ramen. You hadn't cooked it because you had put it on the kitchen counter and pretty much forgot about it. You went in to the bathroom to clean your teeth and emerged, changing into your pajamas as you went. You had decided to wear your favourite pink pjs, the ones with teddies all over. The softness of your freshly washed pajamas was making you tired already, and it was barely even half past nine yet. You turned off the light and turned on the small pink lamp that was at the side of the bed. The dim light made you that little bit more tired, so you turned on the tv to give yourself something to do to keep you up a little longer.
You realised it was no good when your eyelids started to droop. Suddenly a sharp pang of something hard hitting your window was hurt. You picked your head up, listening intently. It happened again. Pang! And again.
Getting up, curiously, you made your way over to the window and opened your curtains a crack to pear out.
Seeing who it was, all your senses leaped to attention and the sleepy feeling was well and truly gone. Yukwon had changed out of his school uniform and was wearing a jacket that wasn't giving his head much shelter from the rain. The jacket was only thin so you knew he was probably quite cold - it was meant to be chilly tonight. It was raining, not heavily, but enough to soak his white shirt until it was practically seethrough, from what you could see from his open jacket. You could see his breath in the cold night air as he reached down to throw another small pebble from your front garden at your window, only to look up to find you looking down at him.
"Kwonnie, no one's home. You could just used the door, it's open." You giggled and quietly. He gave you a slight smile and headed for your door. You shut your window and closed your curtains as you heard the door open then close, and then you heard his footsteps jogging up the stairs. Your door burst open and you turned to give him a soft smile, when suddenly his body slammed into yours in a hug that crushed your bones.
"Mianhe." He said quietly, squeezing you tighter if it was possible.
"Wae? What?" You said, confused now. His clothes were wet, but you didn't dare let go. He sounded upset but you didn't know why, and to be honest it actually scared you a little. He was freezing, and you could feel him quivering slightly in your arms.
He didn't let go of you though, he just kept apologizing, "Mianhe, mianhe, mianhe..."
"Kwonnie, what's up?" You said, winding your arms around his waist. The material of his shirt was soaked through and it was making your hands wet, but you weren't going to let go.
He buried his head deep into your shoulder, apologizing even more. His wet hair tickled your neck and you could feel water droplets from his face falling onto the crook of your neck, making you colder than you already were and getting your pajamas wet in the process.
You pushed him backwards softly, so you could look at his face and what your eyes met fractured your heart a little.
His eyes were wide like a puppy and his forehead was crumpled. He looked so helpless, you just wanted to help. You didn't want him to be helpless. His helplessness was only emphasized by the fact rain droplets were cascading down the bridge of his nose and his cheeks.
You held his face in your hands carefully and you flinched a little at how cold his cheeks felt underneath your fingertips. "What's wrong?"
"I'm sorry I let her shout at you like that." He said quietly, his eyes pained.
You smiled slightly, "I don't care about that, it's fine."
But he carried on, pulling you back into a tight hug, "I'm so sorry. I'm sorry I let her be like that with you...I should have said something...I'm sorry I wasn't there for you...I'm sorry you had to see me and Sae together for ages...I'm sorry I never told you how I felt before her...I'm sorry you had to go through that...You shouldn't have had to go through that..." He murmured into your shoulder, sounding almost frantic.
You pulled yourself out of the hug carefully, disentangling yourself from him but still keeping him close, "It was worth it."
"What?" He looked shocked.
You cupped his cheeks and stole a kiss off his wet lips, "You were worth it."
A slight smile graced his lips, "Still. I mean it. Mianhe."
You nodded, smiling, "It's okay, arasso?"
He nodded reluctantly, "Arasso."
"Smile, Yukwon." You said, softly.
When he didn't smile straight away, you put your fingers to the corners of his mouth and pulled them up into a smile until you heard him laugh.
"There." You grinned, satisfied, "I'll be back in two minutes I just need to wash my face."
As you left the room and walked into your ensuite, you heard his voice ring out clear as day, "Hurry, jagi."
Your heart clenched at the last part as you closed the door to the bathroom. Jagi? Jagi. Jagi. He had called you Jagi. You let out a secret smile and hurried to splash water over your face then dry it. Absentmindedly, you picked up your cherry chapstick and smeared it over your lips. You walked back in and were met with Yukwon stood in the middle of the room, still dripping wet and shaking vigorously now.
"Yah! Yukwon!" You stepped forward and held onto his shoulders, "You're shaking!"
He laughed very quietly and shakily, "I know...I'm a little cold."
You raised an eyebrow, "Maybe just a little...take off your wet jacket before you get sick."
He complied and pulled his jacket off, resting it on the back of your desk chair. It was only then when you realised just how wet he really was. His white shirt now clinged to his slightly muscular frame and it was no longer white, but transparent. You scratched the back of your head, "You better take that off too."
He nodded and pulled his shirt off slowly, having difficulty with the fact it was stuck to his body. Without thinking you moved forward to help, brushing his cold stomach with your hand slightly as you picked his shirt off the front of his abs and assisted him in lifting his shirt up over his chest. His hand brushed against yours, finishing off by pulling it up over his head. He discarded the shirt onto your bedroom floor and brought his wet forehead to rest against your dry one, breathing heavily, his teeth chattering slightly.
You blushed at the close contact, bringing your finger up to trace across his jawline, making him smile.
A slow smile spread across his face as he dipped down to plant a long slow kiss to your lips. You kissed him back slowly and softly until he pulled back to admire you.
He ran his tongue over his top lip and then the bottom one, tasting your lips on his, and hummed, "Mmm, cherry."
You giggled almost silently, a little flushed.
He smiled, pressing his lips to yours once more, "Wear it more often."
You nodded slightly.
"You want me to get you a towel to dry off?"
He grinned, "Please."
You smiled and slipped into the bathroom quickly to grab him a towel, returning to find him kicking his shoes and socks off. You pushed the towel towards him and he took it, drying the back of his neck.
"Here. Stay still." You said, taking the towel off him and placing your hand on his chest to push him back onto your bed. You had no idea where this sudden rush of confidence had come from, but he didn't seem to protest. He sat on your bed and you joined him, settling down infront of him.
You lent forward and began drying his hair with the towel, softly. You then mopped his forehead dry and then brought the towel to his cheek to dry that too. He stopped you in his tracks though, placing his hand on yours on his cheek. He leaned forward and kissed you again.
When he pulled back, he smiled, "Can I stay tonight?"
There was a pause and then you both blushed furiously.
He chuckled lightly, "Not...in that way. Just...I haven't been around you that much today."
You smiled, "Don't you have an essay due in tomorrow?"
He nodded, "Yes...but, I want to spend time with my girl."
My girl. You liked the idea that he now thought of you as his.
You breathed, smiling, "Your girl?"
He nodded then caught himself, "I mean...not that your mine, like, I don't own you..."
You pressed your fingers to his lips to shut him up, "I like it."
He grinned, "Yeah?"
You grinned back, "Yeah."
He lay down and pulled you with him, letting you rest your head on his chest.
"I can hear your heart beating." You grinned.
You felt his chest under your head vibrate with his laughter, "Is it weird?"
"No. It's...kind of nice, actually."
You felt him laugh again, and then his hands started to run through your hair, very delicately.
"Do you remember when we used to play dot to dots with our freckles? With those felt-tips you had?"
You smiled.
He had remembered.
All this time.

NOTE: THIS IS PART 4
PART 1 IS HERE
PART 2 IS HERE
PART 3 IS HERE
For the next week, you thought of nothing else but that conversation. Your mind whirled with all the things she had said and you constantly found yourself pondering what she actually meant. Of course, on the outside, everything was fine. Just fine..
Yukwon kept asking your advice for the tux he would wear, while you took every chance you could to stay as far away from Sae at all costs, and in the mean time avoid talking about her with Yukwon. You knew he thought you were acting weird, but when he questioned it, you brushed it off.
You knew he thought something was going on, but you couldn't tell him. You just couldn't.
So you cancelled the order for the dress you'd picked out that your mum had liked for prom and you just hoped he didn't think it was about him.
A week later, and it was a day after prom. You had distracted yourself buy eating ice cream while prom was on without you, but even that reminded you of Yukwon; it was his favourite. You had thought about going anyway, but you thought it would look too tragic. And you really, really didn't want to see him slow dancing with her, ever.
But today was Saturday, a new day. And you were going to enjoy it, without thinking about Sae or Yukwon. You headed for the shops to buy some groceries, but really it was just a distraction to keep your mind off Yukwon and clear your head of all the things Sae had said.
You were heading for the vegetable section when you slammed into someone. You looked up to find Sae looking at you.
"Mianhe, _____-ah!" She said, looking rather embarrassed.
You tried a smile, "Yah, it's fine...my fault."
You hadn't really been with Sae alone, apart from that day in the classroom when she'd said...well. When she said that stuff.
You didn't really know how to leave the conversation, and you prayed she would just say her goodbyes and move along.
But she didn't.
"So...how are you?" She smiled, friendly.
It was odd. She acted like nothing even happened and you didn't get it. She had looked on the verge of tears and now that had all just....gone away? Obviously, you weren't going to bring it up but...what the hell was going on in her head? Maybe she'd just lied...why would she lie?
You replied, "Oh,um. Good...you?"
She nodded, "Okay, yeah."
There was a long, awkward pause. You had expected her to leave straight away, but she lingered. After the pause became too long, you decided to just chit chat, even though it was awkward and weird, you felt obliged to ask.
You tried not to wince too much as you said, "How was...prom?"
Really, you didn't know what you were expecting but it certainly wasn't the reaction you thought she'd have. At the mention of last night her eyes glazed over a little and she said a little quieter, but matter of factly, "Me and Yukwon broke up."
You gasped, dropping your shopping basket.
What?
What?
LAST NIGHT FLASHBACK:PROM
Dancing, music, sweet perfume. Arm in arm, they arrived together. Stepping forward, she clung onto him, unable to conceal her wide grin. She'd made an effort tonight. Dark, smoky eye shadow, long swaying dress, blood red lipstick. She looked good, no one could deny her that. When the slow dancing started she took to the floor, pulling her boyfriend with her. The boyfriend was the source of envy for all the other boys, but oddly, he looked...underwhelmed.
She moved silkily smooth but his stance was wooden and stiff. Her arms draped around his neck, clinging on as if she could lose him at any moment, which seemed laughable, but not to her. Other couples had taken to the floor, staring dreamily into each other's eyes. But this couple stood out.
He barely made eye contact with her throughout the whole dance, his eyes flickered from one decorated wall to another, but never for a moment to her. She placed a chaste kiss on his lips to bring his attention to her. He returned the kiss and laid his eyes on her for a moment, but they soon strayed back to the balloons placed around the room in pastel colours.
He did everything by the book, he had bought her flowers, picked her out a corsage. Bid her good evening, arrived on time, taken her in his car, said all the things he was meant to. Told her she was beautiful, let her link her arm through his so everyone knew they were together. He did everything right. It should have been perfect.
But it wasn't.
When the music cut and a dance tune boomed through the speakers, she wrenched herself away from him and told him to go outside with her. Though he was confused, he followed her out to the grand garden all the same.
He struggled to keep up, jogging and shouting her name, "Where are we going? What's up? Are you okay?" He shouted after her, but she just kept walking.
When they made it outdoors to the green garden, she turned on him. The grin had been swiped from her face and she looked so vulnerable and her eyes were watery and any moment now she knew her make up would be ruined.
"Go home." She croaked, barely a whisper, if even that.
His forehead creased, "What?"
"Just go, Kwon." She instructed, emotionless.
"But, we've just got here..."
She shook her head, "We should have never come."
He looked a little shocked, "You're not enjoying it?"
She didn't answer his question, "Are you?"
He scrambled for explanations, "You know this isn't really my thing, I hate school dances, I hate dressing up."
She only shook her head once more, "It's not the place, it's the company."
"Ani, ani, I just hate these school dances." He pushed on, but she ignored it.
"Ani. You just came with the wrong person."
He moved his head sideways, questioningly, "Wrong person?"
She looked down at her beautiful shoes and nodded, "If it was her with you tonight, you'd be having so much fun."
"Who are you talking about?" He asked, so so confused.
Again, she ignored his questions, "You two always have fun no matter what."
"Who? Who do you mean?"
She smiled a tiny bit, "I think we both know who I'm talking about."
"Well, I don't." His brow furrowed.
"Well I do. And I know she's been on your mind since we got here."
His brow wavered, then fell. Did she mean...?
She nodded, "Yeah. You should have come together."
"Ani, don't be stupid. She wasn't even that bothered, she didn't care."
She shook her head, and laughed at his stupidity, then turned serious once more, "Didn't care? Of course she cared. She may not have bought her dress two years in advance and she might not be into the whole barbie pink lipstick stuff, but she's still a girl, Yukwon. She still feels."
"Feels?"
She nodded, and looked into his eyes properly for the first time,"For you."
"And I'd be willing to bet you feel the same way."
He let out a laugh, with more nerves than humor, "Are you crazy?"
She shook her head, "Ani. You think I don't see the way you look at her?" She paused, then carried on, "The way you text her first when your sad or happy or just even bored?"
He shook his head, "She's just a friend."
She laughed, " 'Just friends' can go longer than a day without talking to eachother," Her voice rose, anger seeping in, " 'Just friends' don't slow dance in the dance studio togethe-" She stopped abruptly, "Mianhe, I'm not angry at you...I just, I wish I'd realized this sooner."
"Realized what?"
"I'm always going to be second choice, aren't I?"
"Yah, ani...I...I...You know how I feel about you..."
She smiled sadly, "Then how come you never say it?"
"I do!"
"Say it then." She dared him, trying to not let her voice break.
"I....I..." He stuttered over the words, fumbling over the letters of a seemingly easy three words to say.
Her tears started to blur her vision and she sent him a wavery smile, "That's what I thought."
He tried to scramble for more words, "Sae, I...Sae.."
She reached out a pressed a thumb to his lip to stop him from speaking, "It's okay."
He looked at her unblinking and then she cupped his cheek in her hand, "You were good to me, Kwon. You were a good boyfriend, you should know that, okay?"
She took her hand away and let it fall to her side, "But, there's no point being a good boyfriend if you're spending your time thinking about someone else."
There was a long pause as they both stood, looking at each other, not quite knowing what to say.
He broke the silence, "I'm sorry."
She bit back tears and stepped away from him, nodding. "I know. Me too."
She turned to walk away, but looked back at him one last time,"Promise me something, Ukwon?"
He looked across the garden at her, "Yes?"
She took a gulp, "Tell her."
As he watched her leave, he put a foot forward, thinking he should go after her. But then he retracted his foot.
There was nothing left to say.
