Lotor is always kidnapping Lance so Keith will realize his feelings. Ugh. What about Lotor accidentally kidnaps Lance in an attempt to help him and Keith is pissed that someone thinks they can take HIS mate? Ends with Klancelot. 🌹

So like... lance gets injured or smth and Lotor’s like “it’s not sporting to just leave him so I guess I’ll take him with me and when he’s better, he can leave or w/e” (as if Lotor is some kind of Paladin rehabilitator I guess lol)

Meanwhile, Keith doesn’t find out that, hey Lance is missing until later bc he’s busy (ironically) chasing down leads on Lotor with the BoM (Lotor is, btw, completely aware that they’re after him, and all the leads they’re chasing are cold/false)

So, Keith being Keith, he immediately goes after Lotor bc hell no, that’s his mate and no one’s gonna kidnap him, not on his watch. Through a series of comedic wrongturns, he actually (accidentally) stumbles upon Lotor’s actual whereabouts, and bursts in on them, sure he’s gonna find something awful happening (torture, etc)

Instead, they’re both doing face masks and playing board games.

Lotor’s not an idiot, and he realized that, as much as the Paladin was growing on him, that’s a mating bite on his throat (even if it is from a very a Diminutive Galra, based on the size) and he has enough problems.

So they’ve just been chilling while lance recovers, and while he’s much better at this point, he’s still not quite 100%.

Keith, meanwhile, had never actually see Lotor before, and is having the “oh no he’s hot” realization, but he soldiers through that and is like “wtf???”

And lance is like “so anyway turns out Lotor’s pretty chill he’s teaching me to play space checkers”

And Lotor’s like “oh, you’re the mate took you long enough”

And he and Keith kinda get into a little tiff, and lance is like “hey... calm tf down... there’s plenty of me to go around”
