Klance week 2017 - Day 3 - Scars

Klanceweek Day 7: Flowers/Stars

I finished the prompts weeeeeeee

This was done before Day 6, but in trying to finish Day 6, a lot of stuff happened, so it was only literally hours ago that I got to finish it and finally upload it with Day 7. I wanted to keep it in order xD

For this idea, I only got as far as that Lance was the prince of flowers and Keith was the prince of stars. The difference in their locations is supposedly what makes it impossible for them to be together, but that doesn’t stop them. It’s an odd concept I know, but I thought it was cute and fluffy.

Klanceweek Day 6: Hero/Villain

This is uber late, but I don’t care. I had fun making this xD.

Also, this is my third attempt at drawing people kissing and I think it’s my best one yet. This is alsoy first time drawing a Galra Keith (I tried). I didn’t expect to bring in an Altean Lance, but my hand slipped xD

The paper is 11x14 inches and I used gel pens to color this in. I used some ballpoint for the lineart and Keith’s hair. I prefer this paper since it’s very compatible with me coloring this way. So yup.

*Brings in the X-Men AU that no one asked for*

THIS is my Day 5: Fire/Ice picture for Klanceweek2k16.

To be honest, I had no idea what to do for this day because AT THE TIME of when I was supposed to be planning it, I was watching some X-Men series for my brother that were overdue and one of them happened to have one of the worst endings I have EVER seen. I was raging and therefore couldn’t think of anything and was ranting about it to my friend when out of the blue they said, “Why not do an X-Men AU?”

At first I liked the idea, but it didn’t stick well in regards to my first design. Then after school started (bye bye to lots of my happy free time), I decided to give it another shot and did some (SHIT TON) research, followed by a lot of quick sketches.

In the midst of it, the idea ended up consuming me and these two @flubbergut & @venpast were involved with making it worse by encouraging me to keep drowning to where I’m actually going to write a fic about it when I get the chance (I have most of the villains and Team Voltron srt up…Help me …and I need to stop Klancing…but I never will xD) [I love you all though! Thank you for being so great :3]

I chose Magma for Keith and Iceman for Lance because Fire and Ice xD. The design for Keith’s outfit comes from the Magma in the game X-Men Legends (Totally did not try to find an excuse to draw him in a crop top…). Lance’s design come from one of my favorite series called Wolverine and The X-Men, which aired on Nicktoons for some time before the show got cancelled from lack of funding.

I wanted to draw these dorks on “smaller” paper (11x14), but I saw that my main design wouldn’t fit and I didn’t want to compromise, so I chose the “larger” paper (18x24) to do that….Nevertheless, I miscalculated again and realized I either had to start again or attach a second piece of paper of the same size. Guess which I picked? *Rip Me*

Also, due to not being prepared for this and being reassured by Flub and Timber that it was okay AND not cheating, I ended up using whiteout quite a lot xD (Their hands at the hips killed me. I had to do like 4 or 5 attempts on each lmfao)

Anywho, I want to thank @lancesthetic for providing me with this beautiful idea while I was ranting to her haha. I wanted to tell her sooner about this, but I felt it’d be best to surprise her and hopefully make her day xD. Not sure if I succeeded, but hey, I’m happy and proud of this (I had to anatomy so much, just ask Timber and Flub about my suffering xD)

WOOOOO

Okay THIS is my contribution to Day 4: Free Day for Klanceweek2k16. It was originally going to be ALL on smaller paper, but I got excited and with proper inspiration from *Coughs* Timber *Coughs* I ended up going through with the major changes and created this (monstronsity) masterpiece of dorkiness.

It took forever because if you haven’t noticed by now, I mainly draw in black ballpoint pen, so COLORING takes (infinity) a while to get done without damaging the paper xD. IN ADDITION, the larger pieces of paper are actually 18inches by 24inches…whereas the “smaller” paper in here is 11inches by 14inches…

Why did I draw traditionally AND in ballpoint pen on such sizes of paper? Because (I’m masochistic) I wanted to challenge myself and have fun too xD.

It’s really LATE I know, but I do intend to complete the prompts, just to show that I contributed all the way and actually completed a week thing for once in my life xD.

I enforce that you don’t repost this anywhere or try to dub without my permission and even if you do ask, I have the right to decline (This comes from a lot of the recent copyright issues going on in the Miraculous Ladybug fandom).

I want to thank @darkconnoisseurqueen for reassuring me to try and make the comic when I first showed her my quick sketches and for laughing at it. You two are precious and I adore you.

Anywho, I hope you all enjoy this and take it as a sign that I’m not dead, just slow xD.
