They met when they were both only hundred years into the immortality. Although it didn’t start as a fairy-tale, they were a forever kind of love. Katherine had been taken by Elijah, Niklaus’s older brother. Elijah and Katherine did not last long before he was running after the beautiful Katherine Peirce. Klaus had found her crying over the heartbreak. A week or so after, Katherine found herself walking into a party and catching eyes with the original. She smiled at him. She never would have expected that later that night they’d fall into bed together.It lasted a long while. Over year before they both went their separate way. But they never stopped caring about each other. Nine Hundred years later and Katherine will come to Klaus aid against his fight with Ester and Deliah. Their love for each other will spark the flame that never dulled.

That’s sweet, but you shouldn’t ever just make a muse for one other person if you don’t have the muse already in your head for the character. And you would not suck.
