Speed Demons question!

After I binge read Speed Demons I kept listening to that playlist of yours on spotify. Then, in my suggestions, there were a couple of new songs mixed in- and theres one i cant stop listening to. It’s called These Darker Days by Freddie Long. For some reason I keep associating the song to speed demons, and I was wanting your opinion/your thoughts, since I’m sure you’ve not heard it before. Would you say this song goes well with Speed Demons? If it does, then is there anybody in mind you have? Out of the playlist you assembled, which song do you think Kageyama would relate to most? Hinata?

Ah I just listened to this and I super love it!!! The Speed Demons playlist honestly has a very wide range of sounds, although it tends to lean super high octane/energy - this song in particular though totally makes me think of Jump Start and Kageyama’s road to recovery :)

As for my playlist, I actually have a pretty in-depth breakdown of the songs Kageyama and Hinata relate to individually (as well as what their musical “styles” are, so to speak)! For Kageyama, I def think Thunderstruck (as my theme song for the series), Back in Black, Highway to Hell, because they all really have this dual feeling of making your own way on the open road, but also going for and taking what you want! 

For Hinata, All I Do Is Win, Heaven in our Headlights, and Alone Together have that feeling of competitiveness but also a contentedness with just doing the thing he loves (with the person he loves most).

For Karasuno as a whole, What We Live For has always been my group song, as well as Get Money for the senpai and Busy Earnin’ for their drive to make their name in the racing underworld. Renegades and Seein’ Red for the gang as a whole, and their rebellious lifestyle, though they all still depend on and support each other ^^

Tease Me

The room was dark, the air smokey, as Ciel was led to the back by a big man wearing sunglasses. They didn’t speak, which was more than okay, and he was pointed out to the room that would be his. He didn’t say anything as he slipped past the man and into the small room. He has been doing this job for the last year, and he has become rather popular and his rates were increasing rapidly, which is why his manager moved him to this new club that opened in the last couple months. He only got a glimpse of the main room, but it looked like any other place he’s worked in, so he didn’t see the big deal. He spent the next hour preparing himself and it wasn’t long before he heard music start up and a cheer raise of from the crowd that surely had formed. He wasn’t the first one out, but he went out so he wouldn’t miss his cue. It wasn’t until the last two years that males were allowed to perform in these type of clubs. Ciel had started as a joke, a friend putting him up for it, but he found that he actually really enjoyed it. Enjoyed the rush he got while performing, enjoyed seeing people just lose it, and he knew it was because of him. He heard the music change to signal him to go on and he squared his shoulders, the corner of his mouth quirking up as he stepped up onto the stage. It was it easy to slip into the routine, his body moving to the music easily, hips swaying and a playful smirk on his face. He let his gaze dance along the faces watching him, pleased with the reactions and he was feeling a little breathless by the time his set ended and he stepped off stage and back into the back. Oh yeah, he was going to get a big check from this gig. He was definitely going to like it here.  @knightatem

The Intern

Funtom was a profitable organization that started out small, family owned, but had grown exponentially over the last fifteen years. It had prestige and power, highly charitable to boot, and hundreds of applications are filtered through each year. Only a handful were accepted into the coveted intern spots, the ones that would shoot them up to the higher level positions. Others were accepted into lower level positions, factory positions and the like. The company was run by Vincent Phantomhive, a man who was intelligent and well liked by all employees. He tried to treat everyone fairly and when he had to step away from the building for meetings or a family emergency, he was confident in leaving the company to his second-in-command, Sebastian Michaelis. It was Sebastian that Ciel was on his way to see, as he marched through the halls with his head high and giving friendly greetings when he made eye contact with an employee. He was well-liked by the workers, stopping by often to see his father, yet in all this time, he’s never met Sebastian. He’s only heard about him, all good things, and he was looking forward to working with him over the course of the next few months. He had to ask his father’s secretary where the man was, and he stepped into the open doorway to the man’s office, knocking quietly on the door. He had arrived on time, so surely he would have been informed of his arrival, and he took a moment to get a good look at who he’d be working with. His breath caught in his throat and he had to take a moment to get his thoughts away from where they were straying.  ‘Hello handsome... This is going to be harder than I thought..’ Sebastian had to be the most gorgeous man he’s ever had the pleasure to lay eyes on, and all thoughts he had about an easy semester went out the window. All he would be able to do was make sure he didn’t do something embarrassing. Ciel waited until Sebastian was looking at him before he stepped further into the room, lifting a hand for a handshake. “Sebastian Michaelis? I’m Ciel Phantomhive. It’ll be a pleasure to work under you.” He mentally slapped himself, hoping that hadn’t come off as flirty, even that was all he wanted to do at the moment. He probably wasn’t even interested in men, so he needed to not make this awkward until he knew further information. @knightatem

I have a lot of free time at work, so I tend to pass the time by imagining cute scenarios for some of my otps. And every single time, my mind has to betray me. Brain: you know, this is a pretty good idea... but you know what would make it even better? Me: Please don't Brain: Just replace x with Sebastian.. Me: Don't! Brain: and Ciel could be this character.. Me: god damn it brain. Why must you do this every time? And of course every scenario turns into a potential rp, which I have to go tell @knightatem because she's my fav rp partner and we have to many going but I want to do them all.

Ciel yawned, bored as he watched the countryside roll by, mind not really registering what he was seeing. He was on his way home after spending the last two weeks with his aunt, visiting with her while she went through some old documents from his grandparents. He had had an alright time, but he was more than ready to be back in his own home, sleeping on his own bed, and to be able to sneak some snacks out in the middle of the night without always being caught. His aunt was a light sleeper and the moment he tried, she’d be out to stop him. The boxcar he was in was filled with mindless chatter that he easily blocked out, more content to focusing on the sound of the train moving along the tracks, to the sound of the whistle blowing. He hated this trip, and he sighed, pulling out a small book he had on him to finish the trip reading. It was better than just staring aimlessly at least. But got this trip always bored him out of his mind when he was alone. As much as she annoyed him, he’d even rather have Elizabeth with him to keep him company. He’d have someone to talk to, and she was someone whom he could have an interesting conversation with. But she wasn’t, and he was left wishing that for once, something exciting would happen. @knightatem

Ciel could feel his own embarrassment growing at the rather detail explanation Sebastian’s new friend was going in. It wasn't like he hadn't entertained those sort of thoughts before though, but they were normally while he was alone and could fully enjoy his fantasies. His heart was pounding in his chest, and while he normally wouldn’t mind such attention, normally would be able to keep his compsure, he was caught off guard. He nodded, giving Sebastian’s hand a little reassuring squeeze as he took a step back, wanting to get away from the crowd just as much as Sebastian did. “Yeah.. let’s get out of here.” He took a step towards the building, wanting to grab his coat before they left. He couldn’t see Alois in the crowd that had formed, but he knew it’d only be a matter of time before he found out, so he didn’t feel bad about leaving without saying goodbye. He’d be getting an earful for sure tomorrow, but he’d deal with it when it came. @knightatem

The cold air was a relief as he stepped out of the hot mass of bodies, and Ciel breathed a small sigh of relief. He had felt like he was suffocating, being pushed between people, and the rejection felt like a weight had been set on his chest. He made his way over to the railing of the porch, leaning against it and not registering the snow and cold seeping into him. Did Sebastian really not want him anymore? Was he trying to give him a hint or something that he wanted someone else? Tears filled his eyes at the thought and he quickly wiped them away. No… He wouldn’t cry because that wasn’t true. It couldn’t be true… right? He jumped at the sudden touch, body relaxing at the familiar voice and he allowed himself to be led away without any protest. He licked his lips, suddenly unsure and apprehensive, but he reached out before he could second guess himself any longer. “I’m not really any good either you know… But I would love to dance with you.” @knightatem

The music was loud in his ears and Ciel had to hold back a sigh. He wasn't much one for going out and partying, but he had been talked into coming by his friend, his only condition being that he was allowed to bring his boyfriend so he wouldn't be completely bored out of his mind. He was starting to wish he had declined the offer, the frown on his face growing at the sight of some... some guy flirting with Sebastian. Somehow each giggle the guy made was heard clear as day to Ciel, despite the noise around him and he grit his teeth. He knew, deep down, that he really had nothing to worry about, but he couldn't push down the jealousy twisting in his stomach. Sebastian was attractive, more so than should be allowed, so people, male and female alike, were always flirting with him. It always left a bitter taste in his mouth and Ciel threw back what was left in his cup before making his way over to the two. He didn't feel bad when he slipped between them as the guy was in the middle of what was surely a funny story, his attention fully on his boyfriend. "Come dance with me?" He asked, looking up at him with wide hopeful eyes, the ones he always used to get what he wanted. The sooner he got them separated, the better he'd feel. @knightatem
