Knightrokoooooon 2014
Another exciting bucket list item was Knightrokon, UCF's own anime convention held in the student union over a weekend in June. This year's knightrokon was Avatar the Last Airbender themed, and had a super fun murder mystery with great costumes and actors!
We spent a lot of time in the merch room. There was a vendor called The Paper Pony that had these beautiful pieces of art made out of layered paper. There was a Totoro one I walked past like ten times (ask Amanda) before finally committing to buying it. And I am absolutely thrilled with it!

And Dante Basco was there! His face is the top one by the schedule up there haha. It was pretty cool getting to hear him talk and seeing him interact with his fans.
My favorite events were Water-bending Yoga and Geekapella. The yoga course was so relaxing and enjoyable, and the teacher was welcoming. But "Batman knows what you did in the dark" pretty much topped the day!
And of course we had to get some Avatar themed art while we were there!

All in all, we had a blast! Some of the anime references were a bit in-depth for the Foxcroftians, but we enjoyed the costumes and excitement all the same!
Knightrokon 2014 Part 2/2 (Random Encounter Concert)
God, I love this band.
Random Encounter's concert at Knightrokon 2014! It's only the first two songs though but it's still cool. I'm really surprised my camera actually was able to shoot this in such a good quality.
