AH BECCA YAAAS!
I feel like they're all going to be different shapes and sizes... but that's okay! We'll make it work. Here's the link if you want to crochet (with the sizing details.)

Knit-A-Square
I just found out about a charity called "Knit-A-Square". Their goal is to collect as many knitted squares (20x20cm) as possible. People from all over the world can send their knitted squares which they then sew into blankets. Those are being sent to Africa, where children in need will get them.

For me, knitting some squares feels better than donating money- somehow i always doubt that my money reaches those who need it. This is a nice alternative.
Spread the word!
Knit-a-Square is a charitable organization that collects knitted and crocheted 8" squares to sew into blankets for the orphans of South Africa. Their goal is to collect one million squares by the end of 2013. Join in by knitting one square, 25, 60, 100, or as many as you like! Invite your crafty friends to join in too.
First square of the year! This will be an amazing way to use up some of my stash!!!

First of all: thank you from everyone at KAS. 6 blankets in only a fraction of the year, from only 6 people.
Secondly: Pam (admin) apologizes for not featuring us in KASNIPPETS December (the newsletter). We will be in the January edition, as I have sent in a proper report of our work and how I came to be involved in Tom/tumblr/fans/charities.
Please go and check it out, and I will link you to our feature when it comes out (end of January).
