Hey there. Wade came up with a little game he likes to call Knitpool Roulette. If you want to play, give me three numbers. One roll of a 10-sided die, one roll of a 20-sided die, and one roll of a 6-sided die. I have ten comic books! Your rolls will tell me which book, which page, and which panel. Then you have to knit, crochet, sculpt, sew, whatever, something or someone from that panel! (If there are fewer than four panels, it will be the last one.)
This will challenge us to go out of our comfort zone and be creative! Sort of like those writing challenges. Consider it a “crafting prompt!” I was thinking about a deadline. We need a little pressure, but it’s pretty busy for everyone these days, so how about April 15. Tax day! (But even the IRS gives extensions, so we’ll see.)
I will post participants’ progress and final projects on this blog. Additionally, participating and finishing will give you a chance at a give-away prize. I am thinking a Nano-figure or your choice.
So, send me the numbers, and I will see what panel you get. I will post it on my blog and tag you. The comic books are a variety of Deadpool (of course) but also books that feature other Marvel characters like the Wolverines, the Champions, the Invaders, Gwenpool, etc.
