There was much LANGUAGE muttered during the cast-on using this fiddly yarn. But the d*#m hat is done, and now I can make one for my sister. 😁

Feeling the pleasure because of crafting. Again.
I need to work through my current knitting stash
I have 2 jumpers on the go (niece & younger sis), the supplies for 3 more (2 for me, one for older sister) plus supplies for socks and some chunky knit hats. I have my eye on some well priced 100% wool that would make me the cosiest jumper ever and for just under £30! But I think maybe first I should get through the projects and supplies I have first. That would be the practical, logical thing to do :/
This is a big mood
I just want to drink coffee knit and take naps
I think I'm starting to narrow down my vacation knitting ideas. After a week or so of giving myself hell, I've decided that - even though I have several I REALLY wanted to start - bringing a color work would be a nightmare. Those plane seats are tiny enough as it is, without wrangling 5 skeins of yarn. Instead, I've decided to bust out of of the yarns I've been saving "for special" and here are the most likely candidates - On the far right is some Frabjous Fibers Cheshire Cat (jubjub bird) that has been screaming to be Rumpelstiltskin socks I have both Doctor Who and Sherlock themed Felici Sock yarn, and I know that I want one of them to be World's End fingerless gloves (but which?) Then there's Republic of Wool twist fingering (wonderland) that I think would be perfect for Kai-Mei socks and then to the far left are Knitted Wit Victory Sock (enchanted forest) and Fierce Fibers 24 Karat (starry night) that I really really want to use, but can't seem to nail down a perfect pattern for. Something pretty, but not too busy because the yarn is a bit crazy on it's own. Maybe something like Rye fingerless gloves? I'm open to suggestions (even if it adds to my potential projects, why not?) and also helpful nudges towards making a decision...not saying I'll listen because I'm stubborn as shit BUT I am almost down to a month so I need to figure out which needles I need to free up so I just might listen to sense - HELP! (now this is the bit where I cross my fingers and hope all these links work...)
Drives me crazy when I am halfway thru a row and my nails start snagging my yarn.
Honestly why/ how the fuck was knitting with three open ended knitting needles even thought of. Why, just ... why ?! How do people even make the fingers for gloves, this is a nightmare !!!
