Greetings! This is one of the first hats that I knit my son. I struggled with the short rows so much. I wonder if I could find the pattern to try again for a future grandchild.

ERRATA: In the decrease section, the “k18” should be “work 18 stitches as presented in the ribbing pattern”
Complicating factors: that pattern is absolutely written for fingering yarn, and the yarn I have is absolutely sport weight. The pattern recommends 0s and 2s, I'll be using 3s and 4s. My partner has, I love him, a very big head, however, so this might not be the obstacle I think unless there are a LOT of false starts.
I have a LOT of dramas I'm half through, so keeping myself busy isn't going to be hard.
