Sometimes you need to take inspiration from the world around you. I really enjoyed designing this daffodil tam hat. It has a bit of a medieval vibe about it. Pattern incoming.

How it started vs how it turned out! I designed a brioche cardigan two years ago, finally finished it today! Unless I decide to dye it or add buttons... but for now, it's ready! It has a fishbone pattern down the back, and it's super warm and stretchy, perfect for the season!

Hey people who design knitting patterns for sweaters, how do?
Particularly interested in figuring out an algorithm for altering sweaters to fit atypical body types, particularly for trans and nonbinary and otherwise queer people. I am confident I can eventually do this because I am going to hyperfixate on this, math and algorithms are my favorite, and I have a good understanding of knit sweater construction types.
However, I think I should probably start small and learn about things such as "grading" [what even is that] and "designing a sweater for many different sizes."

I just posted my first knitting pattern, freely available on Ravelry, the Diamond Eyed Socks! it's an addictive lace knitting pattern that's really fun for intermediate knitters.
it's available in 4 sizes (S, M, L, XL). yarn used: ontheround's (@makingyarn) Nimble Sock in Narwhal, which I loved! if you want to try this yarn yourself, use code TRYNIMBLE at www.ontheround.com to take 15% off nimble sock!
(if you make it, please tag me and let me know -- I'd love to see how it comes out for everyone! :) )
Who’s ready for another yarn kit for the Princess Sereni-Tee? I love this new colorway so much, it reminds me of the background aesthetics from the 90s Sailor Moon anime (last picture for inspo)! Test knitting is almost done and I can’t wait to show you all of the beautiful sweaters that have been made! If you’ve been watching my stories you’ll have seen some already and they’re so good 🥰 All yarn kits and the Princess Sereni-Tee pattern will be live next Friday!! 🎊🙀 — view on Instagram https://ift.tt/3BfrmIn
