Aargh!!!

Can someone please explain how I can have 78 stitches, add 1 stitch and still have 78 stitches?

I've spent the last 45 minutes trying to figure out where the hell I've gone wrong but have just given up and ripped the whole shawl off the needles.

Me: Fucking hell I've lost my cable needle.

Me: *goes to fetch another cable needle*

Me: *still knitting 10 minutes later* oh hey I found my cable needle.

Me: *puts away cable needle #1 just to be safe*

Me: *sits down to knit*

Me: *realizes cable needle #2 is now missing

Me: ...

Me: ......

Me: ............

Me: fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck!

Attempting a Fair Isle headband. It’s slow going, incredibly fiddly and frustrating but I’m getting there.

Trying to knit with a little finger that’s either broken (again) or badly bruised is not easy. Just in case anyone was interested.

I really need to work on Dad’s cardigan but it’s so boring! It just feels like acres and acres of maroon stocking stitch!

Knitting logic does not equal our Earth logic.

Counted my stitches 3 times at 48 stitches. Cast on 1 stitch and I now have 50.

How???

Four fucking hours later and I finally have one heel of my pair of socks turned. One.

Numbers have been problematic today. (And that's an understatement.)

However, the lime green heel is awesome.

Customer: So how many Lopi sweaters have you made?
