I need to be physically restrained from starting a new knitting project bc I already have a blanket and a shirt going and I am so bored of those but they need to get done and I cannot bring myself to work on them so I’m looking for a new blanket pattern to do and guys this is a
✨ problem ✨
Why on earth did I think it would be a good idea to put a zip on this?
.
(Well, obviously I know full well why, but that doesn’t make it any less of a pain in the arse)
My knitting needle is a wand.
My wand is a knitting needle.
Sorbet's sweater is complete😍
Figuring out what to do with my sweater project (it’s supposed to be a vest but the armholes are twice as big as they’re supposed to be so that’s not gonna happen) has led to Days 14-16 trying to make something happen. I’ve attempted 3 different types of sleeves, making adjustments each time as the prior attempts don’t work out and I think I’m going to be looking at a 4th at the rate I’m going. Big. Deep. Sigh.
It is officially too hot in my apartment to knit. I’m ready for it to be autumn again.
End of another semester...
Yes, it is that time of year again. I have three papers to write and I’m dreading it. Even though the faster I finish the closer to freedom I am, I procrastinate. First world problems. Hopefully my allergies tone it down a bit so I can actually concentrate. I am using knitting as a way to balance out the craziness of all the endless reading I am doing, but I really should stop and just write. How can you love learning so much, but find yourself running away from books that go over 160 pages? That’s a different post. I subscribed to Madelinetosh for the first time yesterday. I came up with some reason why it was okay for me to make that purchase. The yarn buying has been raging lately. I might need to calm that down as well.
