I-cord bind-off in progress . . .
I spent a beautiful day in Kensington Market today- and I finally got to show off my #folkeshawl , designed by talented @kiyomibee, and published in newest @amirisushop. The centre split and the soft, chunky yarn @katiayarns make for a very cozy shawl!
I didn't like the look of the tassels so I took them apart and tried adding fringe instead. Long reaction short: 🤩😍🤩😍🤩😍
On to the last color block stripe of my No. 10 Shawl . . .
Shawl season has begun in NYC and the cozy neck wraps make me happy!
(The red/pink/black one and blues/acqua one are both my Chelsea Girl Shawl pattern; the dark purple one is my Community Garden Shawl pattern.)
Finished my Number 10 Shawl (tails woven in . . . washed and blocking now after I took it for a spin yesterday)—it is so cozy and warm!
.
Pattern design is by Versaciknits. The 10 colors were a way to use up some of my yarn stash, and deciding on the combination of colors was a fun starting point.
What’s on my needles?
LOTS OF COLOR!
On to the next two colors! 🧡💜
