I’m doing my first Italian bind off for a sweater right now and it’s not NEARLY as bad as everyone online makes it out to be. It’s confusing until you memorize the steps but by far the most annoying part is having to pull like four feet of yarn through every god damn stitch

Ripple Effect Knitted Headband/Earwarmer

Guys check this out! I was playing with some knitting patterns and I was like "hey, what if I tried to make some sort of wave texture in the yarn, or like a ripple effect? and then I DID IT.

It looks like this all around. You can see how it has a center point and it ripples out from there, with the waves getting wider and wider

It comes in 4 colors, sea green and 3 different shades of blue, all of which are supposed to be the different colors of water

Jacket for my grandma is complete!! She does not want to be on camera so I’m modeling it :>

She has a nice moon and stars pin for the clasp at home, but I’m just using a tapestry needle for the moment.

It’s the same pattern as the constructigan, in a solid blue this time.

it's such a trip to go from working with a tiny, splitty fingering to a very heavy worsted, both from the "oh i feel like i have training wheels" angle and the "oh this is going so fast" angle
