50, 51, 52, 53, 54, 55 😊😊
Aahhhh thank you so much!!! :)
50. The first movie you ever remember watching in theaters?
I’m pretty sure it was The Lion King! That sounds about right, it was out in 1994 wasn’t it? I would’ve been 5, so that makes sense!
51. A movie that was better than the book?
Well I’m not a big reader, I never read books, so I tend to just judge the films! I have read all the Lord of the Rings books, and the first four Harry Potter books. And with the LOTR films, they’re pretty much my favourite films of all time!
52. Vin Diesel or Bruce Willis?
Bruce of course! Is there anything more iconic than him in that white vest in Die Hard?!
53. A movie that not many have heard of that you’ve seen?
Hmmm that’s a good one. There was this film, I think it was called The Weekend, it was a British film about these two guys who meet and spend a weekend together and basically fall in love, but it’s very real and raw and gritty but also quite charming and emotional. I definitely recommend it. It’s raunchy in places too!
54. A movie that changed the way you view the world?
I find it quite hard to separate myself from films, like I can’t disconnect.....I always think “what if that was me? what if that was my family?” and it can fuck me up. Even films like 2012, like big blockbuster-y films, I think....what if that happened? what would we do? The film that fucked me up the most was The Impossible, with Naomi Watts and Ewan McGregor, about the 2004(?) tsunami. It was the most horrific film I have ever seen, to the point that I almost threw up afterwards because it was just so traumatic and knowing that this actually happened really fucked with my head.
I know that’s not really answering the question lol! I guess all films in a way make me think, even if it doesn’t really change the way I view the world, it makes me think about specific situations, and what it must be like to be in specific situations, especially if they’re based on true stories/events. My heart will break and it can unsettle me for days.
55. Favorite sci-fi movie?
I quite like any film about any kind of alien invasion!! War of the Worlds is a great one!
