How well do you know about Organization, Management and Culture in the New Economy?
During the presentation of our self-assessment activity about organization, I have observed that answers can be different depending in our company environment. Some of my opinions are contradicting to others but this made me realized my understanding about management. In addition, I became aware about my preferences in managing an organization and got good ideas from my classmates and professor.
*** The New Wealth of Organization
Do you consider yourself as one of the wealth of your organization? My answer is βYesβ. In the new economy, knowledge plays an important role to the success of the organization, and what do we possess is the knowledge. Today, the way we perform our job has a big difference compared to the old times in terms of efforts, resources and processes. Because of the emerging technology, the delivery of products and services became innovative. We do not need to consume too much physical effort to perform our duties. These are the perks of working in the new era of business.Β
In my own opinion, it is helpful to know and develop the capabilities of the employees for it is the foundation where other capitals of the organization can be formulated. And as part of it, opportunities can be overflowing but we should be prepared on how to dynamically adapt the upcoming changes.
