My cats sometimes forget that I have to do water changes on the newt tanks and that the lid is not present for them to step or sleep on. Today was Sushi's turn as she jumped up, realized the lid was not there and panicked. Knocked a bunch of stuff but luckily did not completely fall in and no one was harm besides her pride probably.

god i love when cats act with confidence and then completely make fools of themselves, it’s such a niche situation but they ALL do it and its always hilarious. im glad everything turned out ok! stellina gets banished outside when i do water changes on my tanks because she is fascinated by water and wants to just drink/splash around in the buckets which is. unhelpful.

They totally are!! I’ve been thinking about getting a few more and after hanging out with those little dudes today now I’m definitely on the hunt for a few new coopmates for Scarlett and Henrietta. <3

Good eye! There’s one silkie, three booted bantams, and so far it looks like there’s going to be one little rooster in the bunch.
