Former child actress and even received a few awards.
Participated in MNET survival show GIRLS PLANET 999 and was very popular but chose to drop out around the fifth episode. Her grandfather got very sick and was hospitalized. Despite his pleas for her to stay on the show, she stubbornly went against his wishes. Thankfully, he made a full recovery.
Her most notable performance was ICE CREAM and other members of that group revealed that Chaewon helped mentor them and give vocal tips because the members had been nervous about their singing. Of course when that was revealed, some “antis” accused her of being arrogant or bossy.
Chaewon is known to be blunt but never with the intentions of being mean.
She’s said her role model is Sora of @divine-group-official and there is even videos of the two interacting cutely at a fan sign around DIVIN3s debut.
She likes to help people with any and everything (cooking, cleaning, training, shopping for things, pretty much anything lol). She’s like an eager puppy wanting to be involved and contribute in some way.
She’s expressed an interest in song writing and works on them in her spare time. Nobody knows what she writes though as she keeps them in a notebook hidden away in her pillow case.
