Card game brainrot typically hits me with "if they had just used this card (which is already in their deck) they would have won".
But, credit where it's due, Buddyfight brainrot hits me with "if they just updated their deck at all in the past 2 seasons, then they wouldn't have such a bad losing streak".
evil!kodo noboru [tiger]/fem!reader. for buddyfight week [day two]!
.
Euphonious laughter amongst vivacious jests resonated through his heart as his childhood friend and lover capered ahead of him, that cherished and prepossessing smile curving on your ample lips; and Noboru could vividly recollect every instance he scrutinized that bluster of rapture caused solely by him alone.
Ever since he was young, he'd somehow always been able to bestow you with a scintillating smile...
From absconding your ensnarement from nefarious villains (Maihama) to oleaginous dragons (Niitani), everything appeared to be straight out of fairy tale; he knew they weren't real, but with you, he coveted them to be. And maybe they were.
But even the most chivalrous of knights can transform into diabolical bandits.
Iridescent skeins coruscated contiguous of you, an opulent staff manifesting amongst the inundating luminescence, and you tautly gripped the shaft with quavering hands, the heft of the weapon light but heavy due to the opponent you'd be wielding it against.
Unable to articulate a coherent rejoinder to the bellows emitting from Kiri, who stood beside you, and Tiger, who stood before you, you quivered in your fixed position. Until Tiger hastily lunged forward towards you, his mirroring blades adeptly barricading you, and you found yourself reciprocating his malevolent actions provisionally.
The reverberating clamor of metal against metal splintered your eardrums deplorably, the tremors rattling your ribcage and imbuing odious terror at the verity of your situation. "Noboru, I don't want to fight you!" you shrilled upon dodging another onslaught of sadistic attacks, the swift spates of his lances against your singular staff perturbing.
"Well, that's too bad!" Tiger taunted with orotundity, his guttural voice exacerbating the egregious emotions gyrating in the pit of your stomach. Striking you adroitly again, he added, "I have no intentions of backing out!"
The jaded debris nestled underneath the soles of your feet dug execrably into your heel as he drove you back, his strapping strength protruding into you, and you cringed whilst gawkily attempting to cloister yourself from being overpowered by him. "I know you don't want to hurt me, as I do you...!" you soothed, attempting to placate his ire and your own harrow.
Yet the mollifying edge your tone retained heaving no effect on him, he was impervious to your words.
The consternation you possessed unremittingly churning the blood in your wrists, suffusing white-hot sensations throughout every fissure of your entity, and rather then pin you down, it amplified your own potency with every incessant attack.
Tiger attempted to jab you again, thrusting both his lances in your direction, but you shrewdly caught on and brought your staff up to block - once you successfully managed that, you were able to hold your ground and push roughly against him. In a matter of moments, you were able to shove him back, and with a flick of your wrist, you removed the conspicuous cap marring his head.
Everything froze for an ephemeral second as you dropped your weapon and cupped his cheeks, and time ticked again as your lips vehemently met his.
