Fatal Frame: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse Announcement **May be Inappropriate**
Koei Tecmo’s Fatal Frame: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse was announced during today’s Nintendo Direct. The remaster features a new Photo Mode, altered costumes, and enhanced graphics. The game takes place a decade after five girls disappeared during a festival on Rōgetsu Isle. All of the girls were rescued, but their memories were lost, except for a faint remembrance of a melody and a masked woman dancing in the moonlight. Now two of those girls are dead, found with covered faces in a crying pose. The remaining three girls return to the island to solve the mystery of their death and find their lost memories.
Fatal Frame: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse goes on sale in Early 2023.
