Though enjoyment is ordinarily found in undertaking complicated quests that challenge the mind whilst in a virtual world, there is a noticeable difference between that type of an activity and a scavenger hunt that has been created by an imaginative individual. He genuinely believes himself to be too old to even consider partaking in the latter. Of course, it is certainly not his wish to offend the venturesome girl.

From weather that would unarguably compliment a picturesque beach to careless busybodies who shamelessly crowd the streets by traveling in flocks, the inconveniences that prevent this entirely unfamiliar place from attaining perfection or anything close to it are ridiculously apparent. However, even SHE is incapable of sincerely claiming to be completely appalled as there are indeed likable aspects that can easily be taken notice of as well. At least, at a moment when the unattractive ones are not desperately attempting to awaken irrepressible irritation within her, and now is certainly not one of those times.

Though her physical form remains unconcealed - capable of being descried by any individual with eyes that have not been rendered useless, an absolutely unexpected session of contemplation has claimed her mind. It would surely be devoured whole by the very depths of this bottomless sea of nettlesome thoughts were she to not reluctantly yield to a voice that is clearly trying to attract her attention for some reason that cannot be identified at present.

Causing a considerably small ball appearing to be wholly comprised of solidified innocence - a seemingly weightless sphere that has been fashioned with care by winter itself - to materialize out of thin air is beyond human capabilities and he has not seen a bloodthirsty immortal perform such a miraculous feat. It is possible that the stranger is simply an accomplished magician, but perhaps he is something greater than that. The observant one cannot help but pose a single query after having unexpectedly witnessed such a peculiar scene.

Though the query is likely to be perceived as peculiarly random as it is his understanding that it is not common for one to bypass formalities in favor of initiating a conversation relating to that particular topic, his own curiosity has successfully managed to get the better of him. It is not as if he regrets posing it, but it cannot be said that he does not expect her response to be accompanied by a vocal tone reading of bewilderment. Though it is a possibility, the odds of the opposite actually occurring are not exactly overwhelming.

The stranger's appearance instantaneously summons forth a collection of intriguing queries, but the inquisitive teenager willfully refrains from posing ALL of them here and now. Having been interrogated in a considerably casual environment himself, he certainly understands how bothersome the experience can effortlessly prove itself to be. Instead, he promptly resolves to select the most significant one from the bunch and voices it with a noticeable tone of incredulity carefully accentuating comprehensible words.

❝ Is carrying around a sword legal here? ❞

Though he has no need for one at present and the one to which he is purposefully referring is far too slim for his liking, perhaps he can retrieve useful information from this fellow swordsman.
