I think that Kokuma's alleged abuse may tie in very well with the pain demon. This was likely already my plan since this is what I went for in the original first draft of my story. I'd like to make similar ties to the other club members like this as well.

But enough about that, I should stay on topic with Kokuma. I imagine that due to her injuries, she prefers to be covered. In fact, the only thing that having strict parents teaches her is how to come up with believable lies. Thanks to this, her "wanting to fit in with her club" regarding the eye cover was pretty well believed. I imagine a "getting cold easily" excuse works alright as well for a time, although it contradicts her wanting to go out instead of being at home. Honestly, if I'd given her freckles, then I could go with some "sensitive to the sun" excuse as her reason for wearing so many layers.

Her jittery behavior and her covered up appearance, along with her eye cover, have gained concern not only from Daku but Kuroko as well. I imagine Kuroko shoved her once when they bumped into each other, and Kokuma almost fainted out of fear. Additionally, her body simply isn't built for such force, so Kuroko made sure to try to be careful around her.

As for the bit with Borupen. That's something I also had planned out since the first draft, but I also admit that the original draft made him a bit out of character. I'm excited to change their interactions to better fit his personality. I'm sure it'll make their interactions far more interesting than in the first draft.

okay, here me out.

i don’t know if dev plans to get into supernatural stuff in Oka’s week, but i really want him to.

imagine, when Oka returns to school, the bathroom spirit reaches out to her to get her to help. LITTLE DOES OKA KNOW, when she first walks into that bathroom and engages with the spirit, she falls into her trap.

maybe the spirit attaches itself to Oka’s soul or whatever spirits do?

my original idea was that each member of the occult club (excluding Oka) gets a dream or just paranormal encounter regarding each demon reaching out to one of them, warning them of the spirit.

i dunno i guess they just really like Oka. but i mean, who DOESN’T like Oka?

so, Oka’s warned by the spirit that there’s someone trying to kill her, and tells her club members.

maybe one or two of them walk around with her for the sole purpose of being a bodyguard everyday.

then again, where would that put Taro? maybe Oka invites him to the club and (because no one can refuse the power of the cuteness that is Oka) he agrees.

bruh what if the club is sus that it may be him and they ACTUALLY think that Taro went and put a love hex on Oka to get close to her, lol.

so now the club doesn’t like Taro, and Oka’s trying to do many things at once.

get her love life under control, avoid being killed, deal with her club’s warnings.

this is getting long (as per usual) so i’ll cut this off here. maybe i’ll make another post on this?
