They call this a biriyani , but in reality it is a type of Pulao , Kolambi Bhat to be precise . Another Malvan favorite where the prawns are first cooked in masala and the rice added later. It is a bright orange, not exactly the color I like my rice to have , but it is an interesting dish the pre dominant flavor being the small shrimps served with a thin prawn curry and a coriander, coconut chutney .
