top 5 ships, gintama?
yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaah boi finally some Gintama. Gintama has so many good ships, many of them overlapping that it’s hard to decide but!
1. Zura/Ikumatsu. I just love them so much!! the quiet respect and trust between them, how they met under those kind of ridicoulas circumstances, how he keeps going back to her ramen shop to eat soba.. how he helped her find her father and how she helped her hide from the Shinsengumi. it’s just super cute and I really hope he’ll stop the (tbh, fair) “she’d be in danger” thing now that he’s not wanted anymore.
2. Sakamoto/Mutsu. they are peak married cat/golden retriver dynamic, what’s not to love.
3. Otae/Kondo. ok pls get together for real now. after the FS are they HAVE TO before the manga ends lmao. i really like how their relationship developed over the years.
4. Gintoki/Tsukoyo they had such great moments in the first two Yoshiwara arcs I honestly could see them actually ending up together, though they havent had many interaction lately, so it probably won’t happen and it’s fine that way. And Gin/Otae is great too imo, they also had their moments in Benizakura and the Lightsaber arc.
5. Okita/Kagura. give them another year or two maybe but then hell yeah, it’s a great one and one I’d also see becoming canon if the manga ran longer. Also Sacchan/Zenzou!! i like them too.
