korean study vlog!!
Payback is a bitch, Brutal~❤
korean workbook hw has really forced me to think more critically about how sentence structure works
new video!! study korean w me :)
hello!! i’m jannat and i am interested in studying the korean language. i thought it would fun and quite helpful to document the journey somewhere! 🌷
background
i’ve tried to self-study for korean on my own but have never gotten that far. last semester, i took beginner korean i at my university & this semester i’m taking beginner korean ii. after i graduate in may, i’ll be back to self-studying but i believe it’ll go much better now that i have some background (and have gotten over my fear of language learning).
resources
i’m currently using the integrated korean series as part of my university course. my professor rn is amazing, and i’m supplementing her lectures with prof yoon on youtube.
after i finish this semester (and during this semester), i’m also going to use some of the ttmik books or other korean books, mainly to try to improve my reading.
i use anki for making flashcards! i’ve been using vocabulary decks i found on r/korean and make my own based on ttmik & integrated korean lectures
how will i use this space
keep up with what i did each day of the week for korean with a weekly update (anki, new vocab, grammar, journaling, immersion, speaking)
write a weekly journal of a couple of sentences / weekly reflection
put backlog of tasks i’d like to do for week ahead / goals for upcoming week
i’m going to use the tag “#jannat is studying korean!” for all of my updates
(i’m also going to keep a video, audio, and daily diary log off of the internet to be able to see how i progress by the end of the year!)
thank you for reading!
current backlog of topics to learn and review
these are all either things that were mentioned briefly in class or something i noticed in sentences that i found confusing. hopefullyyy i can get to some of this by the end of the week :)

My Korean Ability 170514
안녕하세요, I thought it would be a good idea to do a language update every month so that I could see how much I've improved. improve 싶어요 ㅋㅋ 지금... 내 한국어 너무 나빠요... 하지만 매일 한국어 공부해요. 한국어는 잘 말 싶어요! 그래서 나는 열심히 노력할 거예요!! 오늘은 나는 집에 왔어요. 나는 부모님을 방문했어요. 재미있어요 하지만 슬퍼요. 우리 할머니가 돌아가 셨어요. 너무 슬퍼요. 하지만 나는 괜찮아요. 안녕 👋🏻
