I apologize for prying, but on the similar topic of SIR's, you mentioned Korians...did you only face them the one time or did you come across them on multiple occassions? I can only assume because you said that PAK's change their colors as a defense mechanism against Korians. Also, what exactly ARE they? I know they hunt Invaders, and that they do 'strange' things when they get their hooks enough into you...how much is known about them, and exactly how dangerous are these creatures?
"Alright everyone, sit down for this one."
"The Korian.. Let's just start from the beginning."
"Korio used to be a small, rocky terrained military planet around 150 years ago. Well- classified as military. Their military was... Odd, to say the least."
"Korio eventually became a bit of an issue. A threat to the Irken armada-- war broke out, basically. It didn't take long for the inevitable destruction of Korio- and Tallest Miyuki assumed the threat was gone... Well, we figured out really quickly (with the SOS transmissions and growing silent treatment from Invaders) that this threat wasn't near at all eradicated."
"Turns out, a bunch of Korian Commanders escaped, which sucks because they can control other beings in a Hivemind circuit."
"The Korian system basically works in a Hivemind. There's Korian Commanders, who have a central hivemind system that controls the (much more beastly and animalistic) Korian Soldiers. Korian soldiers were commanded to hunt down Irken Invaders and kill them, as blunt as it is, and that's exactly what they did. Invaders became prey, and... If I can remember correctly, over 1700 Invaders have been killed over the last 150 years."
"When Tallest Miyuki and Spork died, Tallest Red and Purple took their place. Admittedly, they've done some good work against the Korian threat- or at least Red has, but it just hasn't been enough. Korian are elusive and sneaky, and they usually find Invaders before they find them. No one's even SEEN a Commander."
"I was one of the very few Irken to come in close contact with a Soldier and survive. And even then, I'm the only one to have survived for so long. All of the others perished from Pak failures, or they were sentenced to eradication after they'd killed multiple other Irken on the Massive. I guess I was the only one that didn't go insane? Maybe my Pak was the first of a new adaptation? I don't know.."
"I shouldn't have even been deployed that day anyway. I don't remember why but- I was the last choice for the mission. The three medics before me all had some obstacle that prohibited them from going. And- the Invader never confirmed it to be a Korian attack. The Tallest won't send Elites on Korian missions. Only class C."
"Still the Korian are a problem... A serious problem. The Korian rebellions still kicking, and.. I don't know, they might be winning, I can't remember that either."
"For some reason... I'm a bit worried for the Tallest. I don't know why- I don't like them- I guess it's just... A gut feeling. One of those bad feelings, just like all the other unexplainable emotions that decide to pop up at horrible times."
