  Korion Interactive has announced that their much anticipated strategy game, Of Ships & Scoundrels, has now arrived in the waters of Steam Early Access. The game features an intense combination of action with turn-based strategy. The unforgiving seas are filled with unknown lands waiting to be charted. Furthermore, no two pirate excursions are the same thanks to maps and quests being procedurally generated. You must command a growing fleet as you sail through gorgeous scenery, forge dubious alliances, and battle friend and foe alike. Check out the trailer right here:

  Having set sail for Steam Early access some time ago, Of Ships & Scoundrels has finally arrived at that milestone. It brings with it four missions in the single-player campaign. It also has local and online multiplayer, and a hotseat mode for up to four players. Ships can be tuned and leveled up, and your harbors can be expanded. It’s up to you to build up your own naval empire as you grow. Pirates who dare to sail the seas will also need to contend with day/night cycles and the dynamic weather system.

The developers have also posted an early access road map on the game’s Steam page. As you can see, it shows the path the developers have charted for the game going ahead. The developers have a lot of waters left to sail through to get to their final destination, and the journey is just beginning. It includes finishing up the story, a couple of new game modes, multiplayer quests, and more:
