You took care of me when I had nobody else. You always kept a smile, that made everything feel like it'll all be alright. You never turned your back on me, even when I turned my back on myself. You were my bestfriend when I was in need & even when I wasn't.
You welcomed me with arms wide open when I showed up in Cali after years of not seeing eachother. You gave me what felt like the world.
I'm grateful for you because you always supported me in all my ambitions, goals & dreams. We made a promise to see eachother at the top when we reached our goals.
I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for you. You saved my life literally twice & for that I'm eternally grateful. Only way I could ever repay you is by keeping my promise to you.
You asked me to stay, but I had to come back home. Had I known that that was the last time I would've seen you, I would have stayed by your side as long as possible.
